Can You Lose Your Salvation?

Is it possible for a Christian to lose his or her salvation? Those who say that it's certainly possible point readily to the warning in Hebrews 6 as Bible proof. But what is Hebrews 6 really all about? Who are the people being warned here? Joseph Prince tackles these questions head on in this exciting message and sheds light on this controversial topic. This must-hear message will help you determine whether you live life with your eternal security hanging in the balance, or with your heart fully assured that heaven is your home.

We Eat Through Our Ears

Every living creature needs to eat and as human being, we also need to eat to stay alive. Being a born again believer, we are a spiritual being. We are born again in the Spirit the moment we believed in Christ; and because of this, the Word said we are a new creation; a creation that is so new that it has never been existed before. As a believer, a new creation, we also need to feed our spirit men.

It is written that man shall not live by bread alone but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God and the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drink but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. In Jesus’ dispensation, He had to use the word of God in the account of Matthew because He was still under the dispensation of Law. As for our dispensation after Jesus had completed His work at the cross, we are to use the word of Christ for Paul wrote in Romans 10 verse 17 that, faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of CHRIST! Jesus who completed the Father’s will at the cross is now a resurrected Jesus, and He is CHRIST. Therefore, do not carry about with various and strange doctrines, for it is good that our heart be established by grace, not with foods which have not profited those who have been occupied with them.

Isaiah 55
2
~ Why do you spend money for what is not bread, and your wages for what does not satisfy? Listen carefully to Me, and eat what is good, and let your soul delight itself in abundance.
3 ~ Incline your ear and come to Me, Hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you – The sure mercies of David.

These two verses from Isaiah 55 is supportive to this revelation and is releasing revelation knowledge. We are a new creation and the old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new! We have an important task to perform. We have our spirit man to feed and our spirit man is eating through our ears. In the second verse of Isaiah 55, The Lord told Prophet Isaiah to LISTEN carefully to Him, and EAT what is good, and let his soul delight itself in abundance. The Lord is saying that our spirit man is EATING through our EARS!

Every matter in the word of God is important; but when God mentions a matter twice, we know that it is very important, so take heed...! He went on to instruct Isaiah to incline his EAR and come to Him, HEAR, and his soul should live; and He would make an everlasting covenant with him, that is the covenant of grace that we are now enjoying, the sure mercies of David. This sure mercies is the grace of God that king David praised so much in the Book of Psalms. That is why the Lord called him “A man after God’s own heart”, because he knew about the grace of God in the dispensation of Law!

At the garden, Adam fell short of the glory of God by eating from the wrong tree – The tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. He caused the human race to fall with his mouth. Because of the finished work of Christ, we can now receive restoration by partaking from the right tree – the Tree of Life. We eat through our ears to receive restoration that our Lord had brought for us at the cross…. because faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of CHRIST.

The word of CHRIST is the gospel and the word of CHRIST is the power of God and in the word of CHRIST, the righteousness of God revealed. The word of CHRIST gives you the revelation of how righteous you are in CHRIST and the revelation of who you are in CHRIST. That is why Jesus personally reminded us in the Sermon on the mount that we are to seek first the kingdom of God (Christ) and His righteousness, and all these things (things mentioned before this verse) will be added to us! The good news is this, He had already done it at the cross two thousand years ago. Our Father in heaven through the finished work if Christ, had blessed us with every spiritual blessings in the heavenly in CHRIST!

Therefore, take heed how you hear. For whoever has revelation of who he is in CHRIST, to him more will be given; and whoever does not have revelation of who he is in CHRIST, even what he seems to have will be taken away.

Beloved, in regard to all things I pray that you prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospers.

Medan 2012 - Good Idea

We are now back from our Medan trip and we unanimously concluded that it will be a "GOOD IDEA" to travel via Changi Airport if we have any connection flight to be made in future.

When we were on our way back to Kuching, we were using AirAsia via LCCT Kuala Lumpur. When we landed in LCCT, our plane was parked about 2 Km away from the Arrival Hall. It was a pity to see the elderly folks struggling to walk this distance with their luggage.

As we were waiting for our flight to Kuching, the ground crew announced that AK5214 would be delayed for 45 minutes due to the late arrival of the connecting flight from Singapore. As we were waiting in the congested Departure Hall for our flight, we started to compare the environment and the infrastructure that Changi Airport and LCCT had offered. We unanimously concluded that it will be a "GOOD IDEA" and is wise to choose Changi Airport if our travel needs any connecting flight out of country to our destination. After all, by choosing Changi Airport as our transit point, we are still enjoying the competative budget fare offered by the same budget Airliners.

Medan 2012 - Good Foods

The Bible says faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of Christ. The more we hear the Word of Christ, the more faith we have. It is because the Word of Christ talks above Jesus' finished work at the cross.

It is the same for our visit to Medan. The more you come to Medan, the more good foods you can find in this city. As far as 'fooding' (Singlish) is concerned, this trip is the most fruitful trip.

 Rib

 Tom Yam Soup

Rice Cooked with Coconut Milk and Small Chili

Fresh Combination Of Coconut Juice with Lime

 Bataknese Big Bone Soup

Bataknese Dish with Combination of Papaya Leave

 Bataknese Grilled Pork

 Bataknese Fried Pork

Chinese BBQ Pork

Noodle, Look Like What We Have in Kuching

Crispy Three Layer Pork

 Korean Bulgogi Rice

 Vietnamese Coffee

Terong Belanda Juice

Medan people are very creative in making fruit juices and they have all kinds of juice. Their creativity go to  an extend that they even mix the juices to create a juice.  Their juices are cheaper than what we can get in  Kuching, but their foods are more expensive. For example, a bowl of noodle would cost IDR28,000.00 which is about RM9.00.  A plate of BBQ Pork with rice is IDR32,000.00 which is equivalent to RM10.50. These are double the price in Kuching.

Medan 2012 - Good Classes

This is the forth time that we are here in Medan to teach in Celebration Bible School. There are an increase of students in the school this year and many are enlightened with the gospel of grace.

This is the forth day of our stay and we find time really flies. I was given a chance to share in four lessons on Jesus' righteousness. I personally find that I am more composed when delivery the messages and is tapping well in the flow of the Spirit.

It is an encouragement to receive feedbacks from the students that they are enjoying the classes and are blessed with new revelations.
