Floodgate

Yesterday, I had a chance to fellowship with two precious Brothers from other congregation who have been enlightened by His grace. They are full of the revelation of His grace and because of this truth in them, their faith is prompting them to join us because of the grace message we preach in SIB Grace, a Church that Jesus loves.

As they are exercising their faith of Abraham in moving out from their mixture of law and grace environment, they face challenges in their emotional realm posted by the members of their congregation. They are being pull them back from moving forward. However, the joy from His grace overshadows their hindrance.

During our fellowship, one of the brothers embarked on expressing the overflowing love that he experienced under the power of His grace, i.e. when we love someone, the question of “Do I have to” or “Do I need to” just does not exist at all. Our entire approaches of “have to” or “need to” are spontaneous as the result of our revelation of His Grace as a Person. If grace is still a doctrine to us, we will still be doubtful over our decision on “Do I have to” or “Do I need to”.

His sharing immediately triggered me to a verse which Apostle John is saying, “We love, because He first loves us” in 1 John 4:19. In that flip of a second, the Holy Spirit arrested me with a revelation on how this verse works!

Our hearts are just like a floodgate; before we are touched by His grace, by our fallen nature we are always selfish and our floodgates are closed because we are connected to our limited resources. When His grace touches us, our hearts begin to open; and we started to love and bless each other. By His mercy, our floodgates are now channeled to the resources of the whole Heaven by a river called Grace. During our growth in His grace, because of our old mind set and our little faith, we tend to close this floodgate still thinking that the resources are from us. But the truth of the matter is “We love, because He first loves us.” He has first loved us!

At this point, the Holy Spirit encouraged me with His love that to love is His nature and that love is from Him. His grace has already opened our floodgates. As a floodgate, we just have to exercise our faith by letting the gate open fully for His blessings to flow; knowing full well that this river of Grace, is the channel between the storehouse in Heaven to our floodgates. We do not have to worry about how the blessings flow because this kind of worry is not the function of a floodgate. We just open our hearts and let His love flows through us. We love, because He first loves us!

But out of our flesh, selfishness and little faith in Him, we tend to focus on the flow instead of putting our faith on His resources and push away His grace by closing the gate; and we have made void His grace and we have failed to magnify His nature as the Awesome Loving God.

If He has already opened our hearts, He has made ready the necessary infrastructures to enable His resources in Heaven to flow through us. We are able to bless others, because He first blesses us and we are able to love, because he first loves us…

So open up the floodgate of your heart and let His blessings flow!

By Grace Through Faith

A church is born out of Jesus’ death and His blood. For all who believes in Jesus are saved by His blood through righteousness of faith. When we are saved, His blood removed poverty, curse, sickness, bondage, brokenness and restored all the blessings mentioned in the Book of Deuteronomy.

Because of His grace, we, the wild olive branches, are able to come into His blessings. The power of His grace has brought us into His rest. This rest is from Him and rest is of His nature. Jesus says in Matthew 11: 28~30, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

True rest only comes when we have fully accepted His grace and by His grace, we know that God had fully reconciled with us through Jesus. Through these divine elements, His faith is imparted to us and made us believe and understand the value of justification by faith. Justification by faith is the core value of the Gospel that Paul was preaching and justification by faith is of the same Gospel that God preached to Abraham.

When we talk about faith, we would think of Abraham, the father of faith. When we talk about Abraham, we would think of the promises that God made with Him...

The truth of the matter is, not every believer who are saved by the blood, are bless with Abraham blessing! No, only those who are of faith are blessed with believing Abraham. The word “faith” here means keep on believing or in other word “faithing” (I know this is bad English but I just want to bring this point across). It does not mean the type of faith that you put in Christ thirty years ago. It means the kind of belief that you are having now. Do you still believe in justification by faith or you are justifying your righteousness through your own effort?

Paul said in Galatians 3:9, “So then those who are of faith are blessed with believing Abraham.” See the way the Holy Spirit uses word? Even now, while you are reading this, Abraham still believes!

What did God bless Abraham with?
He was blessed with wealth, i.e. Cattle, silver and gold.
He was blessed with health, i.e. his body was rejuvenated at his old age. This blessing also imparted to his wife Sarah whose life was rejuvenated that two kings wanted her to be their harem. And ladies, you are the daughter of Sarah as mentioned in 1 Peter 3:5.
He was blessed with authority, i.e. In him all the nations shall be blessed.

My dear friends, we have been enlighten by His grace, everything good that are of divine value has been laid as foundation. Continue to be faithful to the truth that we have received, continue to walk in His grace...

My First Joseph Prince DVD

This is the first Joseph Prince DVD I bought about five years ago. Because of this DVD, I bought my first DVD player just to play this DVD. Nevertheless, the illustrations in this DVD has helped to set a lot of Christan free from legalism.

Humorous Bible Illustrations

This morning I have a chance to watch this DVD all over again and it still speaks to me. After all these years, I am still bless by it.

God Is Holy Not To Punish Us!

Romans 5:1-2
Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God.

An extract from Will the Real Christianity, Please Stand Up!

If Christ is not raised, we are still in our sins! The truth is, Jesus is now seated at the Right Hand of our Heavenly Father. In a Court Room environment, a Prosecutor is at the left hand of a Judge while the Defense is at the right hand side. Today, I want to tell you a good news. There is no one standing at the left hand side of our Heavenly Father...!

So, give thanks for His Finished Work on the Cross and have peace with God. We are forgiven!

Grace and Peace

Apostle of Grace to the Gentiles, the Apostle Paul, who had written 2/3 of the New Testament in the Bible, started all his letters to all the churches with “Grace and peace to you from God our Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ.”; and he ended every letters with grace.

Romans 1:7, 1 Corinthians 1:3, 2 Corinthians 1:2, Galatians 1:3, Ephesians 1:2, Philippians 1:2, Colossians 1:2, 1 Thessalonians 1:1, 2 Thessalonians 1:2, 1 Timothy 1:2, 2 Timothy 1:2, Titus 1:4, Philemon 3.

This simple insight of the way Paul began his letters shows that this former Law Enforcer, the Pharisee of the Pharisees, had precious revelation on the importance of grace for all the Churches in the New Covenant.

God has reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation; that God was reconciling the world to Himself in Christ, not counting men’s sins against them. And He has committed to us a message of reconciliation. We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making His appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf; be reconciled to God. God made Him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God.

He reconciled the world with Grace not Law and we are the ambassadors of Christ not Moses or even Elijah. If we are still unable to accept the Grace of God, we will never be at peace with God even though He had already reconciled us with Him at the cross.

Still not convinced yet? Well, look at Apostle Peter’s letters! The name “Peter” in Hebrews is “Kepha”, which means Stone, a symbol of the Ten Commandments. Apostle Peter too, started his letters in 1 Peter 1:2 with Grace and peace be yours in abundance; and he even went on to teach us how to receive grace and peace in 2 Peter 1:2, “Grace and peace be yours in abundance through the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord.”

Our Heavenly Father is using a former Law Enforcer and a symbol of the Law as Grace Radio to broadcast what is in His heart to all His churches in the world... Are we in tune with Him? Interestingly, this pattern of writing did not appear in the Book of James, John’s letters or even Jude’s letter.

The Ten Commandments and the Prophets can never make us to be at peace with God. Jesus, by fulfilling the Laws or the Prophets, He forgave us all our sins, having canceled the written code, with its regulations, that was against us and that stood opposed to us; He took it away, nailing it to the Cross and lavished God’s grace and peace at the cross when He cried out, “It’s Finished!”

Grace and peace to you from God our Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ.

Lukewarm ~ The Evil Behinds This Mixture

In the “crazymatic” environment, the intensity of faith in believers are judged base on their performances in serving the Lord. Those who are fervent in serving are classified as hot while those do not serve are classified as cold. Those who are not consistent in their serving are neither hot nor cold and they are being addressed as lukewarm Christian. This is “crazymatic” way of interpretation on the issue of hot and cold mentions in the Book of Revelation 3: 14-22 .

Who are these three criteria of people in the church to be classified as hot, lukewarm and cold under this performance mentality? The hot will be the new converts who are freshly touched by the love of God. The lukewarm are those who have been believers for awhile and backslidden a bit, while the cold are those so called old converts. So every believer under this religious environment has an equal opportunity to go through hot, lukewarm and cold stages; this includes the leaders… Based on the principle of "what son is not discipline by his father" in the Book of Hebrews, the cold and lukewarm believers are always facing the fiery darts from their leaders using scriptures which is usually "stones", to rebuke.

Men are living in a performance orientated world based on their informatics knowledge from this world. This informatics knowledge gives raise to multitude of legalists and religious people demanding fruits and neglecting the condition of their roots. God in His resting nature deals with the root. In His eye, the root is the system of our belief while the fruit is the result of our belief! Right believing produced right living.

The legalists and the religious people have missed what the Lord is trying to bring across in the Book of Revelation. They have been misled by the spirit of this world from seeing the truth and are bounded by the knowledge they depended on. Our Father's interpretation on this issue is never base on our performance. His interpretation of hot and cold is based on the system under grace in Jesus (new covenant) or law of the Ten Commandments (old covenant).

The Ten Commandments in its nature is cold. Grace in Jesus is hot. The law kills and the Spirit gives life. To be lukewarm means mixing grace with law… and it is the devil's job behind this mixture!

The Lord wished we are either completely under the law or completely under grace. If we are completely under the law, we will be convicted that we are unable to comply with the requirements of the law and turn ourselves away from the law and pursuit His grace. After all, the heavenly Father had been fully convinced that we, the mankind were unable to comply with the Law. That is why He sent His Beloved Son to die for us on the Cross and bring grace into our midst.

He hates mixture when we are neither under grace nor under law because when we mix His grace with law, we defeat the purposes of the law which was put in charge to lead us to Christ, that we might be justified by faith. On the other hand, we defeat the purpose of His grace which is to bring every blessings into our life! This mixture makes us neither here nor there and it makes every aspects of our life lukewarm!

The power of the gospel is disarmed in a believer's life when mixture is brought in... Can we see the conspiracy behind this mixture now?

Homemade Spicy Beef Noodle

We have our yummy Spicy Beef Noodle prepared by Penny during our Care Group meeting last night. What a coincidence that whenever we have beef noodle, Owen is unable to attend... and we missed him to clear the table!

The old covenant Saints had to be reminded of the coming of the Savior by looking at the process of the killing of the animals. What a privilege to be a new covenant believer; we can just look to Jesus' Finished Works at the Cross and say grace before we have our meal.

Voice of Grace From Mirror Reflection

He did not come to introduce a new set of rules, neither was His mission to establish the Christian religion or to start a Christian club, called the church. He exhibits the life of every man, the authentic, original, only life ever meant for man to live! There exists no competition to its attraction! He redeemed the image and likeness of God in human form. Remember Jesus did not come as an example for us but of us!

The Two Oldest Trees

Apostle Paul found the Tree of Life after his struggles in Romans 7 when he cried out “Who will rescue me from this body of death?” This reminded me of what our Lord says in respect of the tree and its fruits in Matthew 7:15-20, and in Proverbs 18:21. The word we say is the fruit. The fruit of Righteousness finally came out of Paul’s mouth with his utterance of “WHO” instead of “HOW”, “WHAT” or “WHERE” and worse of all “WHY”.

He had finally come to the end of his self effort by not seeking HOW he is going to do with his struggles; and WHAT he is going to do with his struggles; or WHERE he is going to find help for his struggles or even WHY he needs to due with his struggles. He cried out “WHO can rescue him?” The revelation of Righteousness, Peace, Joy, Wisdom, Prosperity, Healing, Abundant, Freedom… by His grace becomes alive as the Person of Jesus to Apostle Paul.

From this revelation, he expounded his understanding that sin is a long settled issue on the Cross as he continued with Romans 8:1Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (in the Person of Jesus)… In the same manner, when the revelation on sin issue in a believer’s life is established, the ability to distinguish good from evil mentioned in Hebrews 5:14 manifested spontaneously as the revelation of the Person of Jesus revealed the Tree of Life and the Tree of the knowledge of Good and Evil before him in Romans 8:2 - because through Christ Jesus (in the Person of Jesus) the law of the Spirit of life (the Tree of Life) set me free from the law of sin and death (the Tree of the knowledge of Good and Evil).

When we are young in Christ, we have little knowledge about these two trees or we can say we don’t even care at all. We look from afar; it is as if these two trees grow side by side to each other, very near. But as our Spirit men grow, we are led nearer and nearer to these trees and the distance between them becomes further apart. It is when we are under these two trees that we realized they have a marginal distance between them. The picture of these two oldest trees becomes clear at this point in Romans 8:2 and the rest of the revelation in Chapter 8 leads us to the Tree of Life. The context of the whole Chapter become beautiful as it continues to expound on the power of the Trinity in us and our rightful identity in Christ.

This Chapter ends with no separation from the love of God that is Christ Jesus our Lord (again, the mention of the Person of Jesus)…

Identify Ourselves With Him!

Our Lord Jesus Christ chose to identify Himself with us the moment He said, “Here I am, I have come to do Your will.” He then gave up His dwelling in the heavenly place and chose to be conceived and be born as a Man. He lived a life without sinning and was made sin and died for the whole world on the Cross.

2 Corinthians 5:21 - For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

He identified Himself with us not by living a sinful life like us but lived a perfect life without sin and yet was made sin to die for us on the Cross.

In any other religion, we are to produce our own righteousness so as to be righteous; but in Christianity, we have to wake up from our sleep and understand that righteousness is not right behavior but a person — Jesus. Our heavenly Father wants us to seek His righteousness and not our own righteousness. Whenever we seek our own righteousness, we will end up feeling miserable because we can never produce righteousness by our works, no matter how hard we try. If we still see righteousness as a doctrine or a subject, the truth of the matter is, we are still not convinced that sin is a settled issue, His Finished Work on the Cross is not so complete and as a result, we will try to use our effort to achieve righteousness.

It is through the revelation of His grace and the establishment of our faith in His grace that brings forth the understanding of the status of our sin. From the understanding of our sin as a settled issue, we will understand that righteousness is no more a work we perform but a Person we look to. The way we seek His righteousness is not by trying to do what He is doing but, by identifying ourselves with Him in faith through our confession of who we are in Christ.

He, who is full of the righteousness of God, was made sinful with our sin and died on the Cross so that we can have His righteousness. We are made in the image of God, so speak forth the identity that you have in Christ and stop performing our righteousness.

Do This In Remembrance Of Me

In the Chinese Calendar today, the Chinese people are celebrating the Mid Autumn or Moon Festival. Traditionally, on this day, Chinese family members and friends will gather to admire the bright Mid-Autumn harvest moon, and eat moon cakes together.

This festival is to remember their legends Chang’e in Chinese mythology involve some variation of the following elements: Houyi, the Archer; Chang'e, the mythical Moon Goddess of Immortality; an emperor, either benevolent or malevolent; an elixir of life; and the Moon. Basically, this is what the Chinese people think; and they are doing this every year at this time to remember their “heroes”.

This is just a version of what this festival is about. There are various versions because a mythology is not the truth; so I won’t expound on that and as for me, the truth has set me free.

Now, Our Lord Jesus on the night he was betrayed took bread, when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, “This is my body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of me.” In the same way after supper he took the cup, say, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood; do this, whenever you drink it, in remembrance of me.” For whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until He comes.

The word remembrance in our generation has been watered down to mere remembering in our mind. But in the Jewish culture, they actually go through the process in action to remember the festival or occasion. Just like the Chinese people, they are eating moon cake, admiring the bright Mid Autumn moon in remembrance of their legendary heroes.

In the body of Christ today, we have been led to perversion on the way we remember the Lord’s Body. Instead of coming to the Table in celebration, we come in consciousness of our sin and with fear of condemnation and judgment.

Jesus has gone through all the sufferings and died for us on the Cross; and He is our real Hero totally different from those legendary heroes. What the people of the world have are mythologies while we are having the truth. Can we just shift our focus off ourselves for a while and give Jesus the due respect by REMEMBER HIM when we come to the Lord’s Table?

The people in the world celebrate their festival and freely commune to remember their “heroes” with the right attitude, but of no value. While we have been eternally made righteous by the blood of Jesus, we have the truth in us but come with a wrong attitude. This wrong attitude makes void this powerful provision of God and put us back in same position with the people of the world. Hey..., this is a conspiracy from the evil one!

1 Corinthians 11:27 Therefore, whoever eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of sinning against the body and blood of the Lord.

What the Lord meant is the manner of how we come before the Table not who! The MANNER, not the MAN…!!! Yes, we were once full of sin; but when we are born again, we have been made righteous forever not by the bloods of bull and goat but the Blood of our Lord Jesus Christ! When our Lord is resurrected on the third day, we are justified.

However, our heavenly Daddy is always mercy and full of grace. He never gets angry with us but forever faithful in leading us to His truth with lovingkindness.

Come to the Lord’s Table and celebrate His death and remember Him. For whenever we eat the bread and drink the cup, we proclaim His death until He comes. It is His death on the Cross that set us free. Rejoice before the Lord’s Table and give Him the due respect and praise Him. The beneficiary of this remembrance is us not Him.

This is grace….

Habit

I was a smoker for about eighteen years. A twenty-stick pack would last me for about two days on condition that I did not have many things to think of. Along the course of my smoking life, I attempted to quit smoking for a few times but to no avail.

Every time I engaged with a plan to quit smoking, I would have to retire for my sleep very early at night. I would also have to push through the days with sweets and candies. Things did not worked out as I wished and I just could not get rid of this habit.

I knew very well that smoking is not good for me and as well as to those who are around me. Times after times, I had to force myself to buy the smallest packet so that I could reduce the amount of intake. This sounds logical in arithmetic term but in actual fact, I was cheating myself because when I reduced the size of the packet, I increased the frequency of visiting the convenience store. This method did not really help me to effectively cut down the amount of intake but cost me to spend more.

When I came down from the altar call after I had received the Lord as my personal Saviour, the thought of quitting smoking came again. It was a simple thought Jesus put in my mind because He wanted to free me from this habit. He needed me to agree with Him.

The next day, I was convicted to make up my mind to quit smoking. I left the remaining six sticks of cigarette (the smallest pack with 7 sticks in it) and the lighter on the shelf. I did not smoke from that morning until the evening... and this time, I told nobody about it, not even my wife. (During previous occasion, I would declare to everyone that I was quitting smoking and made a liar out of myself.)

When I reach home that evening, I past by the shelf and that packet of cigarette seem to wave at me. I knew that if I smoke then, it would definitely be an enjoyable one because of the duration of times that I had not been smoking. This tempting imagination prompted me to reach for that pack of cigarette again. So I took a cigarette in my hand and went to the backyard so as to avoid the attention of my family members.

As I started to light the cigarette, a voice came from inside of me asking me not to smoke because I had not been smoking for the whole day already. I replied that voice in my mind that I wanted to smoke because as far as I knew, this stick of cigarette would be an enjoyable one. The voice replied immediate saying that I could go on without smoking if I could believe. However, I insisted and the voice said briefly, “Ok, you can try!”

“Yes! I win, I win.” As I thought in my mind, I lighted up my cigarette immediately and took the first sip. Guess what, gosh…! Instead of enjoying myself with this first sip, I was feeling dizzy. I was so dizzy that I lost my balance and fell back on the wall. It was not a good experience at all. This sort of experience had never been happening to me before and why did it happen this way?

The voice came again inside of me in a kind but playful way saying, “See…! I have told you not to smoke and you did not even want to believe in me! Look at yourself, what a fool you have made yourself to be!” I was stunned and answered, “Ok! Ok! You win, you win!” and threw that cigarette into the drain immediately.

The Lord took away my desire of smoking supernaturally and it has been nine years since the throwing of that cigarette. Indeed, habit is defined as an acquired repetitive behavior pattern; custom; costume of us and these habits are rationalized by our intellect based on our knowledge from the tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. That is why the people in the world love to say, “Old habits die hard!”

HABIT

When we kick away the H, we still have ABIT,
We take away the A, we still have BIT,
To throw away the B, we still have IT,
In order to deal with the I, we need the “T” (Cross).

Come to Jesus, the Tree of Life. Our bad habit is a done deal on the Cross.

This is a delicious Cheese Cake made by my beloved wife, Penny. This cake is made from fresh Kiwi Fruit, Mango, Strawberry, Nuts and Blueberry Cheese. It is perfect because the recipe is perfect... If I am going to add some more ingredients into the recipe, even it is out of my good intention, I think I will spoil this cake. So, I rather be a good recipient and enjoy the cake... Mm mm... yummy

Fresh Fruits & Nut Cheese Cake

Now, I don't think we can ever lay our hand on His Finished Work. Grace is a perfect piece of cake from His Finished Work, which is the recipe. (I know this is an inferior illustration; I just want to bring the point across.)

So, just enjoy His grace...

Grace - Better Than We Know

This is the post When We Meet Grace written by Ryan and Jamie Weeks on 21st July 2008 in their Blog called Better Than We Know. Their Grace encounter is amazing and I'm delighted to see our Lord is revealing Himself in every part of the world.

I found out that we actually started blogging at the same time; and by reading through their blog, their sharing are almost identical in term of revelation and the Lord's prompting. Can you imagine this thing to happen at the same time in two different parts of the world. They are in Dunn, Northern Carolina, United States while we are in Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia!!!

Surely our Lord is at work to reveal His love and grace at this age of time. What a Grace Revolution!!!

So fellow Grace-Walker in Christ, be encouraged...!!!

Be A "Right Believing" Believer!

The first “you must not” started at the Garden of Eden while God commanded Adam not to eat from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. Adam failed from that little demand and ever since, mankind is trying to reclaim their righteous status by doing the good and avoiding the bad.

Because of this consciousness, man began to ask God for more laws so that they might have a standard to abide to for their righteousness. Men still failed from the Law and by their own human wisdom, more rules and regulations were ordained to “help” men to achieve the task of Law abiding.

It was through the power of His Finished Work on the Cross that everything that are of the facts and natural in this world stopped at the cross and everything that are of the truth and supernatural started at the Cross.

Friends, it is not what we do that make us righteous. It is what Christ has done at Calvary. Romans 5:19 says, “For as by one man’s [Adam] disobedience many were made sinners, so also by one Man’s obedience many will be made righteous.” It is the obedience of one Man — Christ, and not our obedience, that has made us righteous!

We have to understand that when we have come to Christ, we are a NEW CREATION and a NEW CREATION does not have the consciousness of sin but the consciousness of His everlasting righteousness.

Hebrews 10:22 let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.

We don’t need a revelation of how sinful we are. We know it when we sin. The devil reminds us of our sins. Even our friends and loved ones sometimes point out our sins. What we need, instead, is a revelation of how forever righteous we are in God’s eyes, especially when we sin.

Before we came to Christ, we were slaves to sin and no matter how many good we have done, we were still sinners. And now as a believing believer, we are already a slave to His righteousness. If only we can believe the words of God from the bottom of our heart, as a slave to His Righteousness, even we do wrong, we are still righteous.

God wants us to establish ourselves in what Christ has done. He wants us conscious of our everlasting righteousness in Christ. To do that, we can listen to anointed preachings that remind us of our righteousness in Christ because faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the words of Christ. Don’t just know it in our head; but speak forth the word that was preached to us. Every morning, tell ourselves, “I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus!” When we are so full of the consciousness of this gift of righteousness that is everlasting, we will reign in life! We will reign over sin, bad habits, sicknesses, lack and everything that holds us back from a victorious life!

Don't be an "unbelief" believer! Right believing will lead us to right living; and be a “right believing” believer…

Are You Still Striking The Rock?

The Promised Land was a land of rest where God Jehovah promised His people in Deuteronomy 6:10~11a land with large, flourishing cities you did not build, houses filled with all kinds of good things you did not provide, wells you did not dig, and vineyards and olive groves you did not plant—then when you eat and are satisfied,…

But for 40 years, the Israelite wandered in the wilderness because they refused to believe that God is that good and had given them a land where everything had been prepared. They refused to believe that His work is finished. They could not believe that God had given them a land full of riches to enjoy, a land which just flowed with milk and honey.

God asked Moses to speak to the rock the second time in the Book of Numbers, but Moses with his famous act, struck the rock twice and he was denied from entering the Promised Land.

Today, there are believers who still cannot believe that the work of Jesus is truly complete and finished. They are still striking the Rock and they are trying to complete a completed work, finish a finished work and defeat a defeated devil.

The first time Moses struck the rock for the water, it was an adjacent rock. That strike signified the crucifixion act of Jesus on the Cross. When he struck, the water came out… In the second time, God asked him to speak to the rock instead of striking it; but he struck the rock again for the water… This time around, this Rock was a high Cliff which signified the ascended Christ on the right hand of the Father. He struck the Rock, water came out too… but he was denied from entering the Promised Land.

Our Lord Jesus Christ has finished everything GOD CAN THINKS OF on the Cross two thousand years ago. He had been struck once two thousand years ago… Our Daddy in Heaven is saying do not strike the Rock again, speak to the Rock.

What is speaking to the Rock?

Speaking to the Rock is confession. Confession is Homo Logo in Greek. Homo Logo is "speak the same", i.e. to speak the same as God speaks. Speaking the same as God speaks is positive confession; this confession is Christ centered and righteousness conscious. Whereas to confess what we have done wrong and ask God for forgiveness is a negative confession and this is self centered and sin conscious because we cannot believe He has forgiven us of all of our sins…!!!

What did God say about us?
We are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus!

What did God say about our sin?
We are forgiven, past, present and future! Hallelujah!

What did God say about our life?
He came to give us life and life more abundantly!

What did God says about our financial standing?
For I know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for my sakes He became poor, that I through His poverty might become rich. Hallelujah!

What did God says about our lacks?
God says he who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?
Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, accordingly to the power that works in us.
And my God shall supply all my need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus!

What did God says about our infirmity?
By His strips we are healed!

Are you still striking the Rock? If you are, you have to know that it is His mercy that the water still comes out; but you are still outside the Promised Land. Do not settle yourselves there because that is a place of searching, seeking and begging.

Confess His words folks! Speak forth the Word; speak like God speaks.; speak to the Rock and do not strike the Rock again or else, you will never enter His rest that leads you to the understanding of His grace… This is where the Promised Land is!

How We See Is How We Receive...!

The revelation that we have of Jesus will not affect our Daddy’s acceptance of us. But it will definitely affect our acceptance of what our Daddy has for us and thus, greatly affect the way we receive from Him.

Those who are still under the mixture of law and grace will continue to work to deserve their blessings but those who have understand grace know that our Daddy in Heaven has blessed them in the heavenly realm with every spiritual blessings in Christ.

It is a big difference. One still work to deserve and even go to the extent of begging while the one who know grace already have it.

Not fair, it is not fair..!!! Some may cry out! Yes… it was not fair to Jesus…!!!

2 Corinthians 8:9 For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, so that you through his poverty might become rich.

Jesus was rich and He gave up His dwelling place in heaven to come down on this earth to die for us on the cross. He was sinless but was made sin and He was rich, but was made poor on the cross just for us. It is by His grace that we receive all His blessings; and grace is undeserved and unmerited favor of God. If we are to work for the blessings, we are actually earning our Daddy’s blessings and I am sorry to say that our Daddy is no debtor to anybody.

Today, if we want to experience right living, find out how finish is Jesus’ Finished Work on the Cross and what we have in Him — and believe it!

Right believing produces right living and consequently, our right living glorify Him.

From The Least To The Greatest

A gospel is about the Story of an unlimited God, who came down to this earth to be a limited Man and died a cruel death and paid a full debt of sin for all mankind on the cross. He was resurrected from His death on the third day and went back to heaven and seated at the right hand side of His Father. Every one who has come to the Lord knows Him because of this awesome gospel.

Young converts are full of joy, their life are transformed, their prayers answered by God (even though they do not know the “right way” to pray, so to speak…) and their life are overwhelmed with Christ. They know the Lord is awesome, gracious, merciful, gentle, and loving and powerful.

To the leadership, these new converts are the center attraction for potential work force in the Kingdom. A set of rules and regulations and discipleship teaching are introduced for the purposes of training them to be a vessel fit for the Master's use.

These “Teachers” are sincere people and of good intention. They are committed to strengthen and expand the Kingdom of God. The problem is they do not have the access to the Manna from Heaven. Instead of feeding them with the Bread of Life, the two tablets of stone are turn into bread for feeding. Under this circumstance of man trying to teach man based on human understanding, legalism slips in and subsequently gives birth to another form of religion.

We all know the Holy Spirit is our divine Teacher and our Comforter; He is the Spirit of Truth and he will teach us all things; but unless we preach the grace and truth that come through Jesus Christ, unless we preach Christ crucified, and unless we magnify His Finished Work on the Cross, the Holy Spirit is made void in our midst.

Our function is not to teach people to know the Lord, but to point them to Christ and the anointing in them can teach them all thing. It is sad to see that under a legalistic environment, the leaders feel more secured in what they can do and what they can control through laws and ordinances and have no security in what the Bible says and thus, embark themselves on the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. To embark on the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, we can kick aside the Holy Spirit and still do fine with our own effort.

It is only through the preaching that expound the mystery of Christ that, we are able to access the Heavenly Manna which is from the Tree of Life. Grace is the Person of Jesus, and Grace is not a doctrine and not another subject in the Bible. To know grace and truth, we need the revelation from the Holy Spirit and if we claim that we know Jesus, we will spontaneously know His grace and the truth because grace and truth come through Jesus Christ.

If anyone thinks that he is the greatest, he will be the last one to know His grace because the Bible in the Book of Hebrews says, “They will all know me, from the least of them to the greatest…”
