Simple English Lesson for Today

Simple English lesson for today...

Isaiah 53:4-5
Surely He has borne our griefs (present perfect tense)
And carried our sorrows (present perfect tense);
Yet we esteemed Him stricken, Smitten by God, and afflicted (past tense).

But He was wounded for our transgressions (past tense),
He was bruised for our iniquities (past tense);
The chastisement for our peace was upon Him (past tense),
And by His stripes we are healed (present perfect tense).

To endorse these 7 tenses, He declared, "It is FINISHED!"

The Kind of Faith We Need

We do not need FAITH to know that we are a sinner; but we do need FAITH to know that we are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.

Thank you Jesus for the Holy Spirit convicted FAITH.

John 16:8
~ And when He has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:

John 16:10
~ of RIGHTEOUSNESS, because I go to My Father and you see Me no more;

The Holy Spirit convicts us of our RIGHTEOUSNESS of God in Christ Jesus.

We do not need FAITH to know that we are a sinner; but we do need FAITH to know that we are the RIGHTEOUSNESS of God in Christ Jesus.

This FAITH is not natural but supernatural. This FAITH comes by hearing, hearing by the words of Christ.

Romans 1:16-17
For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The just shall live by faith.”

That is why we need to hear and keep on hearing the Gospel of Christ/the Word of Christ/the Message of Grace.

We do not need FAITH to know that we are a sinner; but we do need FAITH to know that we are the RIGHTEOUSNESS of God in Christ Jesus.

This faith is to BELIEVE and God see us as a doer of the word...

James 1:22-25
But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror; for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was. But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does.

For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made us free from the law of sin and death.

The doer of the word is the one who BELIEVE the word of Christ/the Gospel of Christ/the Grace message.

In Christ, I Am Righteous and Holy!

Song Composed and Written By: Kiu Ming Sing of  COME, Sit With Me!

1 Corinthians 6:9-11
9 Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites,
10 nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God.
11 And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God.

Revelation of God's Names Through the Finished Work of Christ

God’s Name in Hebrews is Elohim and Lord God Almighty is El Shaddai. God has many Names and His Names carries power and with different meanings. That is why the Psalmist wrote:  “Some trust in chariots, and some in horses; But we will remember the name of the Lord our God” in Psalms 20:7; and “Thus I will bless You while I live; I will lift up my hands in Your name.” in Psalms 63:4.

When virgin Mary brought forth a Son, the Holy Spirit instructed Mary to name her Son as Jesus or Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us; for He would save His people from their sins; and His Name is also means Salvation.

Acts 4:12 ~ Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”

Most of all, when Jesus was ministering to His people on this earth, He introduced the name of God as Father. The Name Father carries the meaning of relationship instead of religion as at that time, the Names of God had been painted with religion by the Pharisees and the teacher of Law. After the cross, Christ breathed the Spirit of Sonship into those who believe in Him and we call God as Abba Father!

With the help from the Holy Spirit, the revelation of Jesus’ Finished Work started to reveal the purposes and the power of God’s Names. And the Apostle Paul, the Apostle of Grace, revealed in 1 Corinthians 1:30 that: “ But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God—and righteousness and sanctification and redemption”

The following Names which are found in the Old Testament are pointing to Jesus and  His Finished Work at the cross.

1) Yahweh Jireh: The Lord who Provides.
(Genesis 22:14 ~ And Abraham called the name of the place, The-Lord-Will-Provide; as it is said  to  this day, “In the Mount of the Lord it shall be provided.”)

2) Yahweh Rophe: The Lord who Heals.
(Exodus 15:26 ~ and said, “If you diligently heed the voice of the Lord your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians. For I  am  the Lord who heals you.”)

3) Yahweh Nissi: The Lord our Banner (Standard).
(Exodus 17:15 ~ And Moses built an altar and called its name, The-Lord-Is-My-Banner;)

- Isaiah 59:19 ~ So shall they fear The name of the Lord from the west, And His glory from the rising of the sun;

When the enemy comes in like a flood, The Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him.

4) Yahweh Shalom: The Lord our Peace.
(Judge 6:24 ~ So Gideon built an altar there to the Lord, and called it The-Lord- Is -Peace. To this day it  is  still in Ophrah of the Abiezrites.)

5) Yahweh Rohi: The Lord our Shepherd.
(Psalms 23:1 ~ The Lord  is  my shepherd; I shall not want.)

6) Yahweh Tsidkenu: The Lord our Righteousness.
(Jeremiah 23:6 ~ In His days Judah will be saved, And Israel will dwell safely; Now this  is  His name by which He will be called: THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.)

7) Yahweh M'kedesh: The Lord our Holiness.
(Leviticus 20:8 ~ And you shall keep My statutes, and perform them: I  am  the Lord who sanctifies you.)

8) Yahweh Shanmah: The Lord is Here.
(Ezekiel 48:35 ~ All the way around  shall be  eighteen thousand  cubits;  and the name of the city from  that  day  shall be:  THE LORD  IS  THERE. )

9) Yahweh Elyon: The Lord Most High.
(Psalms 7:17 ~ I will praise the Lord according to His righteousness, And will sing praise to the name of the Lord Most High. )

10) Yahweh Saboath: The Lord of Hosts.
(1 Samuel 1:3 ~ This man went up from his city yearly to worship and sacrifice to the Lord of hosts in Shiloh. Also the two sons of Eli, Hophni and Phinehas, the priests of the Lord,  were  there.)

These are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in His name.  (John 20:31) Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, (Philippians 2:9-10). And it shall come to pass that whoever calls on the name of the Lord Shall be saved.  (Acts 2:21). Thus I will bless You while I live; I will lift up my hands in Your name. (Psalms 63:4)

The Word of Christ is the Gospel

In the beginning, the earth was without form and empty and darkness was on the face of the deep. The Spirit of God moved on the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light. And there was light. In Creation, God spoke (Word of God) and the Spirit moved.

In New Creation, and we are all New Creation in Christ, when we speak the Word of Christ, the Spirit moves... for the gospel of Christ is the power of God unto salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.

The Word of Christ is talking about the Finished Work of Christ. The Word of Christ is the truth witnessed  by the Spirit of Truth - the Holy Spirit. The Word of Christ is affirmative, encouraging to us because of what Jesus had done at the cross. Indeed, man shall not live by bread alone but by every word that proceed from the mouth of Christ. Faith does not come through obeying the law, faith only comes by hearing, hearing by the Word of Christ.

The Word of Christ is about the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ and the Word of Christ is the Gospel!

The Word of Christ is Gracious

John 1:17 ~  For the Law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.

We can see that there are two camp in this verse from the Book of John. One is Moses' camp while the other one is Jesus' camp. Law is with Moses and grace and truth is with Jesus.

In the original Greek, grace and truth is singular which means grace and truth cannot be divided. We cannot say we want truth and we do not want grace and we cannot say we want grace only and we do not want truth. Grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.

As such, the Word of Christ spoken by the resurrected Jesus is the Gospel and is also Grace because Word of Christ talks about the Finished Work of Christ... Apostle Paul reminded that faith only come through hearing the word of Christ.

Awake To Righteousness

"For I say to you, that unless your righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven."  ~ This was spoken by Jesus and what He meant is that, no one can be made righteous through law abiding and no one can be more righteous than the scribes and Pharisees except the law Giver Himself - our Lord Jesus Christ.

We were a dead man, because we were sinful and were not God's people. But God let Christ make us alive, when He forgave all our sins. God wiped out the charges that were against us for disobeying the Law of Moses. He took them away and nailed them to the cross. Through His finished work at the cross, Christ defeated all powers and forces. He let the whole world see them being led away as prisoners when He celebrated His victory. Christ is our wisdom from God and righteousness and sanctification and redemption. This is grace, the unearned, unmerited, undeserved and unconditional favor from God.

Therefore I say, awake to righteousness..., awake to Christ's righteousness not our own righteousness. Christ’s righteousness is revealed through His finished work at the cross while our own righteousness is seen at what we do in accordance to the Law's requirement.

Apostle Paul wrote in 1 Corinthians 15:34: "Awake to righteousness, and do not sin; for some do not have the knowledge of God!" To God, the lack of this knowledge about Jesus Christ is our righteousness is a sin; and the meaning of the knowledge of God is to know that Christ is our wisdom from God and righteousness and sanctification and redemption.

Paul, the Apostle of grace, spoke of this to the shame of his own people in Romans 10. He desired and prayed to God for Israel was that they may be saved. For he bore them witness that they had a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge - the knowledge of Christ as their  righteousness. For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and seeking to establish their own righteousness through law abiding, had not submitted to the righteousness of God. For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness! We are righteous in God’s eye through believing not through our performance. We have the right standing with God the moment we put our trust in Christ.

That is the reason why, we are not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, because the Gospel of Christ is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, the just shall live by faith.

Therefore, believers having being established in the righteousness of Christ; we are far from oppression and we are not afraid of terror, for it shall not come near us. No weapon formed against us shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against us in judgment, Christ had already condemned at the cross! This is the heritage of the children of God because our righteousness is from Christ, says the Lord of Hosts!

Yo.. Awake to righteousness... Awake to the righteousness of Christ, not our own righteousness!

Finished Work

We cannot preach FAITH without preaching His Finished Work.
We cannot preach HOPE without preaching His Finished Work.
We cannot preach LOVE without preaching His Finished Work.
We cannot preach PEACE without preaching His Finished Work.
We cannot preach HEALTH without preaching His Finished Work.
We cannot preach PROSPERITY without preaching His Finished Work.
We cannot preach WISDOM without preaching His Finished Work.
We cannot preach GRACE without preaching His Finished Work.
We cannot preach RIGHTEOUSNESS without preaching His Finished Work.
We cannot preach REST without preaching His Finished Work.

For without the preaching of His Finished Work at the cross is mere religions and human efforts... Through His Finished Work at the cross two thousand years ago, He had gone ahead of us by dying on our behalf.

Ephesians 1:4 ~ just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love,

God is not like people, who lies; He is not a human who changes his mind. Whatever he promises, He does; He speaks, and it is done. He is not going to go ahead of our days to solve our problems... He had already solved our problems! He had gone ahead of us in time two thousand years ago and He accomplished the Father's will on that rugged cross. We are now living in His future when He died at the cross. That is how He had gone ahead of us, and what we need is the revelation of His Finished Work to usher us into His rest...

1 Kings 8:56“Blessed be the Lord, who has given rest to His people Israel, according to all that He promised. There has not failed one word of all His good promise, which He promised through His servant Moses.

It is His Finished Work on redemption that brings us REST; just like God rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had done.

It Is Good For The Heart To Be Established With Grace

Do not be carried about with different and strange doctrines, for it is good for the heart to be established with grace, not with foods, in which those who have walked in them were not helped.

We Eat Through Our Ears

Every living creature needs to eat and as human being, we also need to eat to stay alive. Being a born again believer, we are a spiritual being. We are born again in the Spirit the moment we believed in Christ; and because of this, the Word said we are a new creation; a creation that is so new that it has never been existed before. As a believer, a new creation, we also need to feed our spirit men.

It is written that man shall not live by bread alone but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God and the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drink but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. In Jesus’ dispensation, He had to use the word of God in the account of Matthew because He was still under the dispensation of Law. As for our dispensation after Jesus had completed His work at the cross, we are to use the word of Christ for Paul wrote in Romans 10 verse 17 that, faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of CHRIST! Jesus who completed the Father’s will at the cross is now a resurrected Jesus, and He is CHRIST. Therefore, do not carry about with various and strange doctrines, for it is good that our heart be established by grace, not with foods which have not profited those who have been occupied with them.

Isaiah 55
2
~ Why do you spend money for what is not bread, and your wages for what does not satisfy? Listen carefully to Me, and eat what is good, and let your soul delight itself in abundance.
3 ~ Incline your ear and come to Me, Hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you – The sure mercies of David.

These two verses from Isaiah 55 is supportive to this revelation and is releasing revelation knowledge. We are a new creation and the old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new! We have an important task to perform. We have our spirit man to feed and our spirit man is eating through our ears. In the second verse of Isaiah 55, The Lord told Prophet Isaiah to LISTEN carefully to Him, and EAT what is good, and let his soul delight itself in abundance. The Lord is saying that our spirit man is EATING through our EARS!

Every matter in the word of God is important; but when God mentions a matter twice, we know that it is very important, so take heed...! He went on to instruct Isaiah to incline his EAR and come to Him, HEAR, and his soul should live; and He would make an everlasting covenant with him, that is the covenant of grace that we are now enjoying, the sure mercies of David. This sure mercies is the grace of God that king David praised so much in the Book of Psalms. That is why the Lord called him “A man after God’s own heart”, because he knew about the grace of God in the dispensation of Law!

At the garden, Adam fell short of the glory of God by eating from the wrong tree – The tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. He caused the human race to fall with his mouth. Because of the finished work of Christ, we can now receive restoration by partaking from the right tree – the Tree of Life. We eat through our ears to receive restoration that our Lord had brought for us at the cross…. because faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of CHRIST.

The word of CHRIST is the gospel and the word of CHRIST is the power of God and in the word of CHRIST, the righteousness of God revealed. The word of CHRIST gives you the revelation of how righteous you are in CHRIST and the revelation of who you are in CHRIST. That is why Jesus personally reminded us in the Sermon on the mount that we are to seek first the kingdom of God (Christ) and His righteousness, and all these things (things mentioned before this verse) will be added to us! The good news is this, He had already done it at the cross two thousand years ago. Our Father in heaven through the finished work if Christ, had blessed us with every spiritual blessings in the heavenly in CHRIST!

Therefore, take heed how you hear. For whoever has revelation of who he is in CHRIST, to him more will be given; and whoever does not have revelation of who he is in CHRIST, even what he seems to have will be taken away.

Beloved, in regard to all things I pray that you prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospers.

Tongue

The tongue is a muscular hydrostat on the floors of the mouths of most vertebrates which manipulates food for mastication. It is the primary organ of taste, as much of the upper surface of the tongue is covered in papillae and taste buds. It is sensitive and kept moist by saliva, and is richly supplied with nerves and blood vessels. In humans a secondary function of the tongue is phonetic articulation.

There are many figures of speech concerning tongue…. A common temporary failure in word retrieval from memory is referred to as the tip-of-the-tongue phenomenon. The expression tongue in cheek refers to a statement that is not to be taken entirely seriously; something said or done with subtle ironic or sarcastic humour. A tongue twister is a phrase made specifically to be very difficult to pronounce. Aside from being a medical condition, "tongue-tied" means being unable to say what you want to due to confusion or restriction. The phrase "cat got your tongue" refers to when a person is speechless. To "bite one's tongue" is a phrase which describes holding back an opinion to avoid causing offence. A "slip of the tongue" refers to an unintentional utterance.  A smooth-talking person said to have a silver tongue and a deceptive person is said to have a forked tongue.

The Chinese Character on Tongue
The lower part of this character is 口 (mouth), and the upper part is the tongue extending out from a serpent. Probably because the difference between the man's tongue and the animal's tongue is very slight, the serpent's tongue is used to be the indicative symbol for the character of tongue in general.

Mankind was brought into sin by a forked tongue. Ever since that fall until Jesus’ had finished His work at the cross, James described that the tongue is like a spark. It is an evil power that dirties the rest of the body and sets a person's entire life on fire with flames that come from hell itself. All kinds of animals, birds, reptiles, and sea creatures can be tamed and have been tamed. But our tongues get out of control. They are restless and evil, and always spreading deadly poison.

On the night before our Lord Jesus was betrayed, He gave His last word... He told His disciples that He would send another Comforter. The Holy Spirit is here to convict the world concerning sin, and concerning righteousness, and concerning judgment. Concerning sin, because they do not believe on Jesus... not because of their deeds. Concerning righteousness, because Jesus had went to the Father and we see Him no more... The Holy Spirit is here to convict of the believers on righteousness. And finally, concerning judgment, because the ruler of this world who had a forked tongue, had been judged!

On the first Pentecost after Jesus’ death, the Holy Spirit came like a noise from heaven like the sound of a mighty wind! He filled the house where 120 of disciples met. Then they saw what looked like fiery tongues moving in all directions, and a tongue came and settled on each person there. The Holy Spirit took control of their tongues, and they began speaking whatever languages the Spirit led them speak.

If you are born again, the Holy Spirit had arrested your tongue when He first filled you. Ever since, believers' tongues are no more evil but righteous! Speaking in tongue is therefore, the language of the righteous man. Speaking in tongue is the language of a born again believer. Speaking in tongue is the language of a New Creation. If you are born again, you are forever righteous in God's eyes!

We are not living in the Old Covenant. We are living in the New Covenant where Jesus had finished His work at the cross. We are not subscribing to any denominational teaching, but we are subscribing to  Apostle Paul's doctrine in the Bible. God the Father had made us born again in the Spirit and changed our tongues through the Holy Spirit. Born again believers are to speak of His grace instead of law.  Born again believers are  to speak of His grace instead of the mixture of law and grace. We can never curse God the Father when we speak in tongue; for every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Therefore, in view of our tongues, James went on to question that, whether it is possible for us to speak both praises and curses with our tongues. We praise our Lord and Father, and we curse people who were created to be like God, and this isn't right. Can clean water and dirty water both flow from the same spring? Can a fig tree produce olives or a grapevine produce figs? Does fresh water come from a well full of salt water? Can grace be mixed with law?

There is no other gospel but grace. To tighten up the loose truth, the righteous are inclined to His GRACE. Speaking in tongue is the sign and an affirmation that we are a righteous New Creation. There is no other gospel but grace. Other than that is just another lie from a forked tongue…

Lift Up Your Eyes and Look...

After Lot had separated  from Abram, God started to reveal to Abram regarding His promises. The name Lot in its root word means veil... So, in Abram's case, when Lot departed from him (when the veil was taken away from him) , God began to reveal to him the spiritual things...

2 Corinthians
3:15 ~ But until this day, when Moses is read, the veil is on their heart.
3:16 ~ But whenever it turns to the Lord, the veil shall be taken away.
3:17 ~ And the Lord is that Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.

Thus, in our dispensation of grace, if we are covered by a veil, we are unable to see because our spiritual eyes are covered. When we are able to read the Old Testament to find Jesus in them, such insight is the evidence that the veil has been taken off our face... it is the evidence that we are able to understand the spiritual things...and wherever you see the Spirit of the Lord in the Bible, there is liberty.

Genesis
13:14 ~ And after Lot was separated from him, Jehovah said to Abram, Lift up your eyes now and look from the place where you are northward and southward, and eastward and westward
13:15 ~  For all the land which you see I will give to you, and to your seed forever.

View from 16th Floor of Kasuma Resort, Kuching.

When Abram looked from northward and southward, and eastward and westward, his sight was actually creating  an invisible cross. Northward and southward made up the vertical  part of the cross while the eastward and westward made up the  horizontal part. From the beginning to the end, God is very consistent in His conduct... He want us to focus on the cross where Jesus finished His work!

So, if we can see the cross and the finished work of our Lord Jesus Christ, the promise in verse 15 is ours...  i.e. For all the land which you see I will give to you, and to your seed forever. Of course, He is not talking about the land where we look from the 16th Floor of Kasuma Resort but the LAND in His Kingdom... the LAND of all blessings!

It is the old concealed and the new revealed! It is all about His finished work, even in Abraham's time...

Do Not Eat Of The Lamb Raw

Our Lord Jesus was the Lamb of God, the Lamb that took away the sins of this world as proclaimed by John the Baptist.  In the Old Testament, God instructed Moses and the Israelites not to eat their lamb raw during the Feast of Passover.  In their dispensation, God was using the Feast of the Passover to point them to Jesus’ finished work at the cross. Jesus Himself was the Lamb of God to be burnt at the cross. He was the Burnt Offering...

Incidentally, the word "LAMB" in the Chinese Character is actually showing us the picture of a  lamb being burnt by fire. The strokes that made up the word "LAMB" in the Chinese Character is depicting a young sheep that is being roasted by fire.

The word "LAMB" in Chinese Character

The upper part of this character "LAMB" is a picture of a young “sheep” and the lower part is the picture of “fire”. It indicates a young sheep is being roasted by fire. This combination of a young sheep on top and fire at the bottom is depicting a "LAMB".

This young Sheep was roasted at the cross. This young Sheep was judged at the cross. This young Sheep was the Burnt Offering prepared by the Heavenly Father.

Exodus
12:8 ~ And they shall eat the flesh in that night, roasted with fire, and unleavened bread. They shall eat it with bitter herbs.
12:9 ~ Do not eat of it raw, nor boiled at all with water, but roasted with fire, its head with its legs, and with its inward parts.
12:10 ~ And you shall not let any of it remain until the morning. And that which remains of it until the morning you shall burn with fire.

As a New Covenant believer, do not eat of the Lamb raw… Do not meditate on the Jesus that was before the cross. We are to meditate on the Jesus that is after the cross… after He was being roasted... after He was being burnt... after He was being judged... after His Finished Work.  We are to listen to the word of Christ, because Apostle Paul revealed that our faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of Christ. When we listen to the Word of Christ, we are not eating the Lamb raw, we are eating the well roasted Lamb. We are eating the Lamb Who was being completely judged. We are eating the Burnt Offering well pleasing to God...

Do not eat of the Lamb raw...!

The Air That I Breathe

The system of Hebrew numerals  is a quasi-decimal  alphabetic numeral system using the  letters  of  the   Hebrew  alphabet. The  Hebrew   Numerical  5,  is  Hei  ה  in Hebrew.  The image of the  letter  Hei ה  is a window. The  picture of a window is in the sense of allowing air and light to come into our life.  It is an opening by which the  light and the  air outside  can reach us. The  letter  stems from  a root that means "to breathe", and to be able to see and to breathe are indeed,  two vital aspects of life. These vital aspects of life are gracious gifts given by the Creator of this universe…  and subsequently,  Hei  ה also carries the meaning of God's grace.

Hei ה is BREATH, and Hei ה is also GRACE...

Ephesians 2:8 ~ For by grace you are saved through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God.

When we believed in Jesus, we also believed that He had provided a death for us and therefore, we believed we were buried with Him by baptism into death, so that as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father; even so we also should walk in newness of life. We are born again in the Spirit; and we are now in Christ who is seated at the right hand of the Heavenly Father.

John 3:5 ~ Jesus answered; Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.

If we died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with Him. (Romans 6:8) And for we died, and our life is hidden with Christ in God. (Colossians 3:3) Therefore we were buried with Him by baptism into death, so that as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father; even so we also should walk in newness of life. (Romans 6:4)  And if Christ is in you, indeed the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. (Romans 8:10)

We are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, for to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Unless we have the revelation that we are dead to law and alive in Christ... This Hei ה, God's breath, is not for us to enjoy because we are still struggling in our flesh to breathe our own breath. Our struggles actually cause us to fall away from grace!

Galatians 5:4 ~ You who are trying to be justified by the law have been alienated from Christ; you have fallen away from grcae.

All the epistles written by Apostle Paul are talking about the spiritual truth. They are written for the spiritual being like us, the Church or the born again believers. We are unable to appreciate His grace because we do not believe that we are already dead with Christ and alive in the Spirit. We are still struggling with our own efforts to please Mr. Law, our first husband. The truth is... all believers are breathing His breath and are judiciously married to Mr. Grace!

Romans 7:4 ~ Therefore, my brethren, you also have become dead to the law through the body of Christ, that you may be married to another to Him who was raised from the dead, that we should bear fruit to God.

When we do not have the revelation that we are already dead with Christ two thousand years ago, we are unable to understand that we are actually breathing His breath. But when the Holy Spirit quickens us to understand this precious truth, we will begin to understand that we are living in His grace and breathing His breath.  It is His breath that keeps us alive… It is His grace that keeps us alive!

Galatians 2:20  ~ I have been crucified with Christ, and I live; yet no longer I, but Christ lives in me. And that life I now live in the flesh, I live by faith toward the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself on my behalf.

His breath is for the dead while His grace is also for the dead.  His breath is for those who walk in the Spirit and His grace is also for those who walk in the Spirit. While His breath enable us to walk in the Spirit... His grace also enable us to walk in the Spirit!

His breath is the air that I breathe... and His grace is also the air that I breathe... Hei ה

Marked By His Blood For Everlasting Blessings!

The following link is my preaching at the Sunday Service in SIB Grace on 22nd January 2012.

In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace.

 Blessing

 We Already Have Everything!

Our Work Is to Believe In Him Whom He Sent!

The Word "Work" in Chinese Character

 God In The Old Testament

God In The New Testament

The Crown Of Thorns and Pierced Body

Every Stroke Of The Writing Is Found In John Chapter 19

We Are Marked By His Blood For Everlasting Blessings

Because Of His Finished Work, We are Propitious, Successful and Favorable!

Jesus Did It All!

Take Heed What You Hear!!!

The Common Word Is Vessel

The Consequence of Filling Your Vessel With Secondary Doctrine is...

Fill Your Vessel With The Doctrine That Talk About His Finished Work!

Apostle Paul Was Very Particular About The Gospel... Are You?

Cursed Is The Man Who Trust In His Own Flesh.

Blessed Is The Man Who Trust In The Lord.

How Not To Rejoice?

So rejoice evermore (in faith not by sight), pray without ceasing (New Covenant prayer is listening to the Word of Christ. We who know little, don't talk, let Him Who knows everything talk about His finished work. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of Christ. So don't stop listening to the Word of Christ!). In everything give thanks (How not to give thanks when you know that you have been blessed with everything? Cos' the Word of Christ speaks of His finished work and what we already have in Christ), for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you (The will of God is for you to believe in His beloved Son so that His blessings can come to you through Him).
