We Are All Under Grace!
We are all under grace… all of us... even the unbelievers. Every human being on this planet earth are under God’s grace…
John 1:17 ~ For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.
It has been over two thousand years ever since our Lord Jesus died on the Cross and resurrected on the third day of His death. When He was spending His six hours of long suffering on the Cross, He had made seven remarkable statements... these statements are selectively recorded in the four Books of Gospel!
i) "Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing."
ii) "I tell you the truth, today you will be with me in paradise."
iii) He said to his mother, "Dear woman, here is your son," and to the disciple, "Here is your mother."
iv) "I am thirsty."
v) "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?"
vi) "It is finished."
vii) "Father, into your hands I commit my spirit."
With these seven remarkable statements from the mouth of our Lord during His great suffering, as human being, we ought to believe that Father God is indeed faithful in loving us, for Jesus' death was a confirmation to His declaration that He so loved the world and He would gave up His One and only Begotten Son… and we, who called ourselves BELIEVER..., yes BELIEVER..., oh yes BELIEVER, should better know that our sins are totally forgiven In Christ..., past, present and future! Sin is a looooong settled issue!
Jesus with His death on the Cross had changed the dispensation and ended the era of human performance religion. His death on the Cross had called the human race out from the era of law, into the era of abundant provision of His grace and the gift of His righteousness… This is the era whereby the sins of all mankind had been forgiven… It is finished…! God had done His part… His grace has been lavished to all mankind… it is now up to mankind to respond to His love by receiving His Son through faith. Faith is indeed, believing in what Jesus had done, not what our faith can do.
Ephesians 2:8 ~ For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God.
Therefore, in this dispensation, it is NOT only those who preaches GRACE are under GRACE... But as long as you are a human being, whether believer or not, you are under GRACE. As long as you are born after the death of Christ, you are under this Grace Dispensation! Believers of Christ are no more under law but under grace. Believer did not invite Moses into their heart to be their Saviour... Believers have invited Jesus into their heart, and Jesus is their Saviour.
So, if we are not listening to the preaching of pure grace, or even if we are listening to the preaching that mixes grace with law, we have been robbed of all our blessings that Jesus died to give us…! We will slowly be "killed" and eventually, be "destroy"...! Before the devil comes to kill and destroy, he has already done his ground work on his targeted victims, that is to steal the truth from them. It is this lie on unforgiveness, condemning, legalistic preaching that keeps Christians bound. Christians are carrying a lot of guilt over their life which are bound by the teaching and preaching of prideful men. The end result is, instead of looking for victory that they already process, they focus on their own lacks. Instead of being positive in life, they are negative… Instead of being free, they are bound!
John 10:10 ~ The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.

For it is by grace we have been saved, through faith and this not from ourselves, it is the gift of God.

Grace — The Victory Over Sin, Guilt And Condemnation
He could have condemned but He would not. They wanted to condemn but they could not!!! Hallelujah, for He had taken it all....

Walking On Water
When Jesus had received the drink, He said, “It is finished!” With that, He bowed His head and gave up His Spirit…. Instead of breaking His leg, one of the soldiers pierced Jesus’ side with a spear, bringing a sudden flow of blood and water…
The Church was born out of Jesus’ blood and water. Whoever had put their faith in Jesus and believed in Him had been bathed by Jesus’ blood and is saved once and for all. This is the significance truth on what His blood had done to us. We are redeemed by His blood. As for the water, the water is a significance that we need the watering of His word to cleanse us of the dust on our legs that we have gathered during our Christian walk every day. As we walk in this fallen world, we contact with the dust of this world and therefore, we need the constant cleansing of the water of His word.
This biblical insight is derived from the ordinance of the law which the LORD has commanded of the Jewish people in the wilderness, where they were asked to burn a red heifer without defect or blemish and that has never been under a yoke. The red heifer has to be burnt into ashes and the ashes are to be mixed with water for cleansing, it is for purification from sin.
Ashes signified the finished work of Christ. On the other hand, Jesus washed His disciples’ legs on the night of the Passover, and He reminded them to do the same thing as He had done to them. Washing of legs with water also signified the preaching of the word of God. This preaching is to preach the finished work of Christ.
In applying all these biblical truths into our Christian walk, the water that cleanses us is the preaching of the word of God that is pointing people to Jesus’ finished work and glorifies the finished work of Christ. Our faith comes by hearing and hearing by the words of Christ. In actual fact, Jesus was asking His disciples to share the word that talks about His finished work to one another. In doing so, this kind of preaching cleanses each other from the dust they gathered in their Christian walk.
As for the term of walking on the water, this term can also indicate that when we have heard of the preaching of Jesus’ finished work, and we believe and are responding in line with the truth of the Gospel, we are actually walking on the water. We are now living our life depending on the grace of God instead of depending on our own effort. We are actually walking on the water effortlessly like Peter, when Jesus called him to come, he came walking on the water with his eye focusing on the Lord. As we keep listening to the preaching of His finished work and keep focusing on our Lord, the winds and waves of this world can never bring us down because we are walking on His word. We are walking on the water.
Unless the Spirit of truth reviews to us… we can never know that we are actually walking on water effortlessly. The only thing we need to do is to keep believing His finished work, responding to the truth and living our life in line with the truth of the Gospel, fully depending on His grace…
Are you walking on water?

God Is Upset When You Sin?
Steve McVey with his 100 Lies Series
Isaiah 54:9~10 "To me this is like the days of Noah, when I swore that the waters of Noah would never again cover the earth. So now I have sworn not to be angry with you, never to rebuke you again. Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed," says the LORD, who has compassion on you.

Jailbreak
Jailbreaking is a process that allows iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch users to run any code on their devices, as opposed to only that code authorized by Apple. Once jailbroken, iPhone users are able to download many applications previously unavailable through the App Store via unofficial installers such as Cydia, as well as illegally pirated apps. A jailbroken iPhone or iPod Touch is still able to use and update apps downloaded and purchased from Apple's official App Store. So ever since I own an Iphone three months ago, this "term" keeps knocking at my mind…
So let look at the real jailbreak….

Here it is in a nutshell: Just as one person did it wrong and got us in all this trouble with sin and death, another Person did it right and got us out of it. But more than just getting us out of trouble, He got us into life! One man said no to God and put many people in the wrong; one Man said yes to God and put many in the right.
Yet the rescuing gift is not exactly parallel to the death-dealing sin. If one man's sin put crowds of people at the dead-end abyss of separation from God, just think what God's gift poured through one Man, Jesus Christ, will do! There's no comparison between that death-dealing sin and this generous, life-giving gift. The verdict on that one sin was the death sentence; the verdict on the many sins that followed was this wonderful life sentence. If death got the upper hand through one man's wrongdoing, can you imagine the breathtaking recovery life makes, sovereign life, in those who grasp with both hands this abundant provision of grace and the gift of righteousness, that the one Man Jesus Christ provides?
Our firm decision is to work from this focused centre: One man died for everyone. That puts everyone in the same boat. He included everyone in his death so that everyone could also be included in His life, a resurrection life, a far better life than people ever lived on their own.
Because of this decision we do not evaluate people by what they have or how they look. The Jewish people looked at the Messiah that way once and got it all wrong. We certainly don't look at Him that way anymore. Now we look inside, and what we see is that anyone united with the Messiah gets a fresh start, a new creation. The old life is gone; a new life began! All this comes from the God who settled the relationship between us and Him, and then called us to settle our relationships with each other. God put the world square with Himself through the Messiah, giving the world a fresh start by offering forgiveness of sins. God has given us the task of telling everyone what He is doing. We are Christ's representatives. God uses us to persuade men and women to drop their differences and enter into God's work of making things right between them. We're speaking for Christ Himself now: Become friends with God; He's already a friend with you.
So go and tell people about this jailbreak instead…

Zipped
Recently I leant to compress an mp3 file and forward to my friend as she required listening to this particular song for the Sunday Worship. I never knew that to compress a file is so easy and to forward a compressed file is much faster than forwarding a raw file. The quality of the file she received still remain the same after she had unzipped it.
Well, you can laugh at me if you want… but I am telling you all this because I want to share with you a revelation that I have received while I was being amazed by this simple process in the computer system.
Today is Good Friday, and about two thousand years ago, our Lord Jesus had gone through the eternal suffering at this hour of time. All the sins of this world had been put on Him. All the punishment of this world had been poured on His body. For this six hours from 9 in the morning to 3pm in the afternoon, the eternal sin of this world, the punishment of our sins and the suffering that our Lord sustained, had been compressed and zipped into this six hours. In this six hours at the cross, He had been punished by God and He had suffered a suffering that we can never understand.
Knowing that all was now completed, and so that the Scripture would be fulfilled, our Lord Jesus said, "I am thirsty." A jar of wine vinegar was there, so they soaked a sponge in it, put the sponge on a stalk of the hyssop plant, and lifted it to His lips. When He had received the drink, Jesus said, "It is finished!" With that, He bowed His head and gave up His spirit.
With the same principle, our sin has been forgiven, past, present and future… and if we still think that our sin is still not forgiven, we are actually insulting God the Father and our Lord Jesus.

Status Not Action!
Romans 5:19 ~ For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so also by one Man's obedience many will be made righteous.
This verse caught my attention lately. It was by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so also by one Man's obedience many will be made righteous. It was by Adam’s act of disobedience; we who live after him were made sinners. The state of “sinnership” that we are in is not because of our action but because of Adam’s action. Sinner here is our status and sinner sins...
Praise our Father in Heaven for He understands English! So as through one Man's obedience many will be made righteous. It was by Jesus’ obedience that many like us who were sinners were made righteous. This state of righteousness is not because of our action but because of Jesus’ action. Righteousness here is our status and what we do are righteous!
It is not that many Christian cannot understand English. It is because many Christians are sin conscious. Sin conscious made you conscious of your action. Righteousness conscious makes you conscious of your status.
For example when you fill in a form given by government, you fill in your name and age. When comes to sex, you fill in either “male” or “female”, depending whether you are male of female. This is status. I don’t see anybody would fill in “three times a week”! Because “three times a week” is an action! In filling a form, there is no sin consciousness; therefore we are right with our mind to do the right things. But when come to the word of God, our sin consciousness make us miss interpreting the word of God.That's why I say sin conscious made you conscious of your action while righteousness conscious makes you conscious of your status. Hey, if you are a believer, you are now the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus and Christ in you, the hope of glory!
Therefore, when we can understand the difference between action and status, the following verses in their reverse order will beautifully review to you the results of the righteous act of our Lord at the cross...
Romans 5:18 ~ Therefore, as through one man's offense judgment came to all men, resulting in condemnation, even so through one Man's righteous act the free gift came to all men, resulting in justification of life.
Romans 5:17 ~ For if by the one man's offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.)
Romans 5:16 ~ And the gift is not like that which came through the one who sinned. For the judgment which came from one offense resulted in condemnation, but the free gift which came from many offenses resulted in justification.
Romans 5:15 ~ But the free gift is not like the offense. For if by the one man's offense many died, much more the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one Man, Jesus Christ, abounded to many.
Romans 5:14 ~ Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over those who had not sinned according to the likeness of the transgression of Adam, who is a type of Him who was to come.
Romans 5:13 ~ (For until the law sin was in the world, but sin is not imputed when there is no law.
Romans 5:12 ~ Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned—
Romans 5:11 ~ And not only that, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received the reconciliation.
Romans 5:10 ~ For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.
Wow..., how beautiful was the action of our Lord at the cross that brought forth the righteous status to all who believe in Him!

Finding Fault...
Toyota Motor Corporation, commonly known as Toyota, is a multinational corporation headquartered in Japan and is currently the world's largest carmaker.
Toyota is also one of the largest companies to push the hybrid vehicles in the market and the first to commercialize such vehicles, an example being the Toyota Prius, their innovative model which combine an internal combustion engine with electric motor. Toyota eventually began providing this option on the main smaller cars such as Camry and later with the Lexus divisions, producing some hybrid luxury vehicles. It labeled such technology in Toyota cars as "Hybrid Synergy Drive" and in Lexus versions as "Lexus Hybrid Drive."
The Prius has become the top selling hybrid car in America, and Toyota, as a brand, now has three hybrid vehicles in its lineup: the Prius, Highlander, and Camry.
During the recent embarrassment for the world's largest carmaker which was triggered by complaints about their faulty accelerator and braking system. The fault, which causes the car to accelerate, has also proved deadly, leading to the death of an American family whose luxury Lexus vehicle allegedly sped out of control. The brake problem also affects the petrol-electric Priuses that were sold in the US and Japan. Drivers there have complained of a short delay before the brakes kick in.
In respond to these complaints, Toyota “found fault” with the accelerator pedals and braking system and responded with recall exercise to fix the accelerator pedals and brake system. Approximately, Toyota announced recalls of 8 million cars around the world because of the sticky accelerator pedals and braking system…
If you own one of these cars, there are faults hidden in those two pedals under your feet… and is life threatening. I don’t think a person with a sound mind would reject this recall exercise.
If you own such a car, will you refuse to respond to the manufacturer’s recall exercise…?
Apostle Paul, one of the greatest “agent” of the Creator of this universal, reminded us the believers, times over times in his different epistles that the ministry that is engraved in letter on stone is a ministry of death. The Creator of this universal Himself had found fault with this weak and useless covenant, for the law made nothing perfect. He Himself had made an open statement through His prophets on why he had found fault with this old covenant….
Nevertheless, if the first covenant with God had been all right, there would not have been any need for another one. But the Lord found fault with it and said,
"I tell you the time will come, when I will make a new agreement with the people of Israel and the people of Judah. It won't be like the agreement that I made with their ancestors, when I took them by the hand and led them out of Egypt. They broke their agreement with me, and I stopped caring about them! "But now I tell the people of Israel this is my new agreement: `The time will come when I, the Lord, will write my laws on their minds and hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people. Not one of them will have to teach another to know me, their Lord.' "All of them will know me, no matter who they are. I will treat them with kindness, even though they are wicked. I will forget their sins."
When the Lord talks about a new covenant, he means that the first one is out of date. And anything that is old, outdated and useless had disappeared.
The recent recall exercise by Toyota is to replace the sticky accelerator pedals and to rectify the braking system. Two thousand years ago, the Creator of this universal, found fault with this weak and useless regulations that He made with the Israel people. Through His one and only Begotten Son, and at the cross, He implemented the recall exercise to reconcile this sinful world with Himself.
Through that recall exercise, the Creator of this universal had written His laws, the law of the Spirit of life, on our minds and our hearts. He had become our God, and we had become His people. Not one of us will have to teach one another to know Him, our Lord. All of us will know Him, no matter who we are. He treats us with lovingkindness, even though we are wicked, for He remembers our sins no more!
Have you responded to His recall exercise… or are you still holding on to the law of sin and death?

Put The Horse Back Before The Cart
In the new Covenant, God can put His laws in our hearts because the blood of Jesus had cleansed us so clean that the Holy Spirit can dwell in us.
Hebrews 10:16-18 ~ "This is the covenant I will make with them after that time, says the Lord. I will put my laws in their hearts, and I will write them on their minds." Then he adds: "Their sins and lawless acts I will remember no more." And where these have been forgiven, there is no longer any sacrifice for sin.
When we are born again, God put His laws in our heart through the Holy Spirit, so that born again believers can have a Spirit led life. The problem with us for not responding to this truth is that, we are not established in the New Covenant truth. Our righteousness is a gift from God not our performance... When we think that we still have our sinful nature after we are born again, we are on the wrong platform and frequency to respond to His prompting. When we are sin conscious, our sin consciousness leads us back to the two tablets of stones for the knowledge of good and evil. The knowledge of good and evil in turn, prompts us to perform in order to achieve the righteousness that God required.
Everyone of us knows what is good and what is bad. It is our sinful nature that bound us from doing the good; for the good we want to do we cannot and the bad we do not want to do we do.
Romans 7:15 -19 ~ I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do. And if I do what I do not want to do, I agree that the law is good. As it is, it is no longer I myself who do it, but it is sin living in me. I know that nothing good lives in me, that is, in my sinful nature. For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out. For what I do is not the good I want to do; no, the evil I do not want to do—this I keep on doing.
The truth is, although we are a new creation, our establishment on the wrong platform robs us from the resurrection life that God has given us to live in. That is why before God can put His laws in our hearts; He has to make sure that He remembers our sins and lawless acts no more. It is Jesus’ blood that washes us so clean that God can says "Their sins and lawless acts I will remember no more." Forgiveness of sins and righteousness are one. When we are forgiven, we are righteous!
If we cannot established that our righteousness is a gift from God, and our nature is righteous, whatever God has written in our hearts are of no used because our evil conscious will still prompt us to go back to refer to the stones, trying to do the good and avoid the bad.

But first, let's put the horse back before the cart!

Mission Accomplished
- Law is good and holy. It describes the holy requirement of God. The law is the shadow of good thing to come, and is the shadow of the holiness of our Lord Jesus Christ. Shadow cannot help but Jesus the Substance, can. When we are confronted by law, the law cannot help us but points us to our sins because of God’s standard of holiness. Jesus is grace personified. Jesus came as Man and fulfilled all the requirements of the law and nailed them on the cross. Now, when we are confronted by grace, Jesus helps us for when sin (falling short of the glory of God) abound, grace super abound because grace is unmerited and undeserved Favor of God! After the cross in the grace dispensation, the shadow of Peter and Paul healed the sick!!! The Law condemned the best of us like Moses and King David while Grace saved the worst of us like me!
- The blood of bull and goat which is of a lower value of life than men cannot take away our sin. It just covers our sin. That is why the Jewish people in the Old Covenant needed to offer sacrifices year after year. This blood pointed them to their sins. By the way, bull and goat has no sin in them and their blood can be used to cover our sin. They are born without a sinful nature! So when the bull kicks us from the back, that is not a sin!!! Revelation... revelation!!! This proves the point that sin mentioned in Romans is not about an action but the nature. We are sinner by nature because Adam committed an action in sinning and therefore, because of Adam, we are born with sinful nature. A sinner naturally sins and therefore comes the action of sinning! All glory to our Lord Jesus Christ, through the cross, He saved us from our sins! The sacrifices of the bull and goat points us to our sins but the sacrifice of our Lord at the cross points us to our righteousness because His blood was shaded for the forgiveness of sin once and for all!
- Sacrifice and offering God did not desire because God knew that men cannot keep the law and therefore, He ordained sacrifice of animals so that through these sacrifices, He can draw near to men. God wants and longs to be near to men and we are the apple of His eye. Because of His love for us, His will is to have His Begotten Son to be the One Sacrifice for all. His will is to get rid of the Old and weak Covenant and establish the New and living Covenant.
- Jesus accomplished His Father's will. He had done a perfect job at the cross when He called out, “It is finished!” Now, as His job is finished, He is now seated at the right hand of the Heavenly Father, and we are in Him! The redemption job in heaven and earth had been accomplished by Jesus at the Cross. Heaven and earth had rested from this redemption project. Jesus, our High priest, is now seated at the right hand of our Heavenly Father. The Cherubim of the Ark of Covenant had rested from their job where we find them in the account of the Gospel of John, two angels sitting at both sides of Jesus’ empty tomb. It is Finished...!
- Have you rested from confessing your sin? Confession of your sin is Old Covenant. You are righteous is His eye the moment you have put your faith in Jesus. You should confess what God say about you. He see you as righteous as Jesus. He see you as bless as Jesus. He see you as adorable as Jesus not because of what good you have done, but because of what Jesus had done.
- Honor and glorify your God and your Savior. Renew your mind, get rid of your sin consciousness and be established in righteousness conscious. You have a righteous nature now and naturally, whatever thing that a righteous man do, he is bless. Proverb 10:6 ~ Blessings are on the head of the righteous, But violence covers the mouth of the wicked. (Wicked here means those who do not believe in His goodness).
- Move on and step into the your resurrection life. This resurrection life is the abundant life that our Savior promised.

Righteous
Are you always concern of how people look at you or speak of you? These were my concerns before I know grace… and before I know I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. Well, this does not border me anymore for I have found my identity in Christ and I know how Daddy looks at me...
Our Daddy is a God of covenant. From His point of view, we are never being addressed as an individual but addressed under Adam or Christ. The same applied to the Jewish people back in the Old Testament. They were represented by their high priest. We, as a born again new covenant believer are in Christ, who is our High Priest seated at the right of our Heavenly Father.
We were sinners not because of our act but because of Adam’s nature but, Adam was a sinner because of his act. When we are born again in Christ, we are righteous not because of our righteous act but because of Christ’s righteous nature. At the cross, Jesus who knew no sins was made sin so that through this divine exchange, he took away the sin of Adam and at the same time He imparted His righteous nature onto those who put their faith in Him.
When we establish ourselves with this truth knowing that sin is not our act but is our nature, and the righteousness is also not from our act but from Christ's nature, we will understand that by His grace, we have been teleported from the realm of sinfulness to the realm of righteousness; from the kingdom of darkness to the Kingdom of Light. We are sinner because we are born sinner and naturally, sinner sins! Therefore, there is nothing good we can do to make ourselves righteous because we are sinner by nature. Now, after we are born again, we can do nothing good to make ourselves more righteous because righteousness is a gift from God and we are already righteous through Christ's nature!
When we can establish that righteousness is a gift from God by grace, not of our work through abiding in the commandments, rules and regulation or steps and formula, we have acquainted ourselves with the teaching about righteousness. This is what the Bible says in Hebrews 5:14 as solid food for the mature in the Lord. We have trained ourselves to distinguish good from evil (not knowledge of good and evil) by the constant use of the Lord’s righteousness.
Abraham believed God and was credited to him as righteous. The understanding of this divine righteousness and with constant use will position us with the covenant that God made with Abraham. God gave Abraham the power to get wealth, and he became rich in flocks and herds, silver and gold, male and female servants, and camels and donkey. God’s promise that Abraham and his seed would possess the earth or be heirs of the world was not based on obedience to the law, but on the righteousness of faith. Because we are in Christ and righteous by faith, we are Abraham’s seed and an heir of the world according to the promise. We too, are inheriting Abraham’s prosperity.
Those who have been established in His righteousness will distinguish that God wants to prosper them like how He prospered Abraham in every things, so that God can fulfill the covenant He made with Abraham.
Many believers do not establish themselves in the righteousness of God but by their own righteousness. They still need milk, not solid food! Anyone who lives on milk, being still an infant, is not acquainted with the teaching about righteousness. Grow up, do not miss the promise that God made with Abraham. Get rid of your own effort in obeying the commandments, rules and regulations or steps and formula to be righteous because when we obey in all these, there is no faith involved; for the law is not of faith. Trust in Jesus’ righteousness and those who have faith are blessed along with Abraham, the man of faith.
We are already the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus and a righteous person is like a magnet that attracts all the divine blessing, wisdom and prosperity. Is this not His grace…?

Resurrection Life of Christ
In Deuteronomy chapter 28 verse 10, the Word of God says we are called by the Name of the Lord. The name “CHRISTian” is derived from Resurrected Christ and the disciples were called Christians first at Antioch. Since the death of our Lord at the Cross, those who called themselves Christian are the believers of the resurrected Christ and they are all after the cross under the New Covenant. If only Christian can understand why they are called Christian because of the fact that there are still a lot of Christians belief in the shadow of the Old Testament that is before the Cross and of which they have no part in it. Christians are born again through the baptism of the Holy Spirit and the born again Christians are baptized into His death…
Romans 6:3 ~ Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death?
We participated in Jesus’ death when the Holy Spirit placed us in Christ and made the things that He died to accomplish a reality in our lives. This happened the moment we accepted Christ as our Saviour and we were born again by the Holy Spirit with a brand new, righteous identity called “New Creation”. Christ was buried and raised again on the third day and appropriating what Jesus did for us require our cooperation.
When we are lowered into the water, it is like the burial of Jesus; when we are raised up out of the water, it is like the resurrection of Jesus. Each of us is raised into a light-filled world by our Father so that we can see where we're going in our new grace-sovereign country. Our old way of life was nailed to the cross with Christ, a decisive end to that sin-miserable life—no longer at sin's every beck and call! What we believe is this: If we get included in Christ's sin-conquering death, we also get included in his life-saving resurrection. This is the life of a New Creation, the resurrection life of Christ! Every born again Christians had participated in the death of their old man through Jesus but not all Christians cooperate with Christ in His resurrection life, which in fact, is a by-product of being put to death in His body.
Without much understanding of this big and sensitive word called “sin”, Christians start digging out their dead bodies (which they call resurrection life) and go back to obey the Law, busy dealing with their sinful action. This is not the by-product of dead to sin but a by-product of a Christian religion trying to deal with sin through the Commandments and commune from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil.
Let's see what Paul (who was once a Pharisee and had the understanding of the Ten Commandments from inside out) had to say about sin and it is important for us to understand that he was talking about the sin nature, not sins, an individual action of sin. Out of the forty-nine times this word sin is used in Romans (“sin” thirty-seven times; “sins” four times; “sinned” five times; “sinner” one time; “sinners” two times) forty- seven times it’s talking about the old sin nature (“old self”) in the NIV version, not individual actions of sin. We know this because the Greek word from which “sin” and “sins” was translated forty-seven out of the forty-nine times isn’t a verb but a noun. If you remember English class, a noun always described a person, place or a thing.
We are never being addressed as an individual but addressed under a governmental representative of Adam or Christ and the same applied to the Israelites in the Old Testament as well. They were represented by their High Priest. So as Adam sinned, we are leave with our sinful nature but praise is to the Lord, our Lord Jesus who knew no sin was made sin on our behalf and through His righteousness, we are all made righteous.
A resurrection life of Christ is a life of truth living out by the grace of God through faith. Our Lord Jesus said He came to give us life and life more abundantly. This is the abundant Life from the Tree of Life. Hey friends, don’t go back to the shadow while we have the Substance. Don't go back to Law while we have the grace of God. We are a New Creation with resurrection life of Christ… Religion deals with the fruits (our actions) while our Lord Jesus dealt with the root (our nature) …
If you have put your trust in Jesus and because of your faith you called yourself a Christian, you are forever righteous. Commune from the Tree of Life and the resurrection life of Christ will manifest …

Rest
Before we establish ourselves in His righteousness, we sometimes get the idea that God speaks in very exclusive and economic ways; His words are rare and we have to pay a priest or a pastor to hear God on our behalf. But the truth is, we do not even have to wait for next Sunday!
To get in touch with God is just a local call (wireless cell phone!) away. He is not watching us from a distance. Long distance trunk call is religion and is out-dated at the Cross! Acquaint ourselves with God; because Emanuel means God with us and Jesus had placed His presence among men. He dwells within us; we in Him and our identity are found in Christ. He is always in touch with us, within our immediate reach. Our joy and our love, reflect Him; His presence is our portion, we are within the frame of His thought, within the focus of His heart. Our peace is our awareness of His forgiveness. Our joy is our awareness of His righteousness. Our wealth is our awareness of the abundance of His grace. We love because He first loves us...
Acknowledge Him, adore Him… He is forever consistent and He is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. Sin issue is a done deal at the Cross. Nothing can separate us from God. It remains our choice to labour into His rest and hear Him. We are His audiences; so tune in and listen up...!

Come Boldly To The Throne Of Grace
Grace Upon Grace Conference 09
Sunday Service 10-05-2009
Sunday Service 10-05-2009
Hebrews 4:16 ~ Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
Hebrews 4:15 ~ For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin.
Hebrews 4:14 ~ Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession.

Once we know that we have been established in grace, we have the righteousness of God and His forgiveness of all our sins, past, present and future. Let us do not stop at the knowledge that we are forgiven. We must come boldly to the throne of grace and have the confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus to obtain help from Him. That is to seek the Tree of Life instead of depending on our own reasoning base on the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil.
This is the purpose of His grace in imparting His righteousness to us that through His righteousness, we can have unfailing hope that He is the Anchor of our soul and the ever ready help in our life. We can live our life unaware of His presence but we can never live our life away from His presence; for He had promised that He will never leave us nor forsakes us. So come boldly to the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need...
