R1H1

What is this R1H1, Brother Alan? What do mean by R1H1? Is there anything to do with R2D2? Why not H1N1? No… R2D2 is from Hollywood. H1N1 is from the devil while R1H1 is from the Holy Word.

Well, this R1H1 is foreign to the world, and the world cannot accept it. How shall I put it…? This is a kind of energizer spiritually from the Lord to edify the body of Christ but we are seldom being told about this. The body of Christ has long been inoculated with this energizer ever since the day of Pentecost, way back in chapter 2 of the Book of Acts! By the way, this spiritual energizer is most effective in believers who are of righteousness conscious.

Before Our Lord gave Himself up at the cross, He promised in John Chapter 16 on the night of Passover that, when the Holy Spirit has come, the Holy Spirit will convict the believers of righteousness. Anyone under His voice then knew what that promise was about… and 50 days later when the day of Pentecost came; the Holy Spirit came suddenly like the blowing of a violent wind from heaven and filled the Upper Room where the disciples were sitting. These 120 Disciples saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.

By connecting these two events in the scripture together, we can see that speaking in tongue is the first magnified evidence of how the Holy Spirit convicts us of righteousness. Tongue is indeed, a spiritual gift from God for our edification. Tongue is given to edify our spirit man and when we pray in tongue, we are spiritually edified by the Holy Spirit in convicting that we are still the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. By confessing with the understanding of our mind alone is not enough because righteousness of God is spiritual and we need the impartation from the Holy Spirit for the evidential effect of righteousness in our spirit man!

When we have been firmly established in His righteousness, we will find that those verses mentioned in the Book of Proverbs in respect of righteousness are actually belong to us through His grace…

Proverbs
4:18 The path of the righteous is like the first gleam of dawn, shining ever brighter till the full light of day.
10:3 The LORD does not let the righteous go hungry but he thwarts the craving of the wicked.
11:30 The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, and he who wins souls is wise.
12:28 In the way of righteousness there is life; along that path is immortality.
13:22 A good man leaves an inheritance for his children's children, but a sinner's wealth is stored up for the righteous.
18:10 The name of the LORD is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe.
20:7 The righteous man leads a blameless life; blessed are his children after him.
21:21 He who pursues righteousness and love finds life, prosperity and honor.
23:24 The father of a righteous man has great joy; he who has a wise son delights in him.

We received this revelation while I was driving my wife back to her work place after our lunch last Friday afternoon … and the name of this spiritual energizer is none other than “Righteous One, Healthy One!”

What can H1N1 do to you when you are inoculated with R1H1 ?

About The Eagles

Soaring like Eagles, a marvelous link from Jiaeenn29's Weblog. This great post has been a blessing to me...

Six Lessons From Eagles

“They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.” (Isaiah 40:31)

Have you ever wondered why Isaiah 40:31 is written the way it is?

* Why is the Eagle mentioned specifically?
* What is so special about Eagles that they have a place in the Bible?
* What is the linkage between waiting upon the Lord and renewal of strength?
* Why is it that when you mount up with wings like eagles, you do not get tired?

Read on and you will find the answer.

The eagle is a creation of God. It is the most majestic of all birds and is mentioned many times in the Bible. In fact, the eagle is mentioned 38 times, much more than the dove or other birds.

An eagle is around 90cm tall and reaches over 2m between the wings. She builds her nest on the cliff or in a high tree. The nest is so large that a human can sleep in it. It can weigh 700kg and is also comfortable.

With the basis of God’s word, we shall see what the king of birds can show us concerning truths about God, and also about Christians. May the practical lessons contained in here be of encouragement to you. God Bless.

Lesson 1: All Baby Eagles Must Learn To Fly

High in the mountains, a baby eagle is born. Like all other babies, there are two things that baby eagles, known as eaglets, love to do: Eat and sleep. The baby eagle would spend its initial life in the comfort of the nest. Everyday, mama eagle would find food and drop it directly into the open mouths of the hungry eaglet. With a satisfied stomach, the eaglet then goes to sleep and the cycle continues when it becomes hungry again.

This goes on for a few weeks, until one day, mama eagle would just hover over the nest. This time, there is no food. After hovering a few rounds, mama eagle would make a dive into the nest and begins to shake it violently. She then takes one of her babies in her mouth and starts soaring into the skies. The baby eaglet begins to tremble, “Mama is mad! Mama is mad!” Suddenly, she drops the baby eaglet that starts to struggle. Just before the eaglet smashes against the rocks, mama eagle would swoop down and pick it up. This goes on for about five to eight times. The eaglet starts to wonder why mama is doing this. Every time it is being dropped from the sky, the eaglet would struggle by flapping its wings.

“Mama can fly. I want to fly like her too”, the eagle says to itself.

What beautiful picture! Mama is teaching her young to fly. At about the fourteenth to fifteenth try, the eaglet begins to fly.

Relevance: Christians are like baby eagles, comfortable in the nest. They come to church once a week for food. They would wait for pastor to drop “spiritual” food into their mouths. When service is over, they would go home, “sleep” for a few days and the cycle continues, until one day, something happens and they struggle. The nest gets shaken and they don’t know what to do.

“It’s the devil! It’s the devil!” they exclaim. No, it’s not! It’s just our loving Father who allows our nest to be shaken because He wants us to grow into maturity, so that we can fly. It’s no point being an eagle that cannot fly.

The Word of God says in Exodus 19:4 that God carry the children of Israel on eagles’ wings. Here we see the eagle symbolizes God. The way mama eagle treats her young shows us how God treats His children. Just when it seems like we’re going under.. SWISH.. like mama eagle, God, comes and picks us up.

In the world, they push people upward when they are going up. But God lets us fall down to get us up. Hard times come, but after a couple of times I start to pray a little bit more. I start to read God’s word a little bit more. And suddenly I realize that the answers to my prayers are coming.

Hard times always come but I find I’m not helpless, no, I see that I can stand on God’s word. What has happened? I’ve learned to spread my wings! I’ve learned to fly. GOD carries us supernaturally through all our trials, even if we don’t feel it. Yea, who can see the wind? While mama eagle teaches her young to use their own wings, God teaches us to believe His Word and use our Faith.

Lesson 2: Eagles Are Made For The High Places

Unlike other birds that fly in the lowlands, eagles are made to fly in the high places, out of sight of the naked human eye and out of range of the hunter’s rifle.

Relevance:
God made us to fly in the high places, free from the world’s control. A tourist to the Jurong Bird Park once commented that the eagles there looked very clean. In reply, the bird-keeper said: “When eagles are in freedom, they are the cleanest birds. But when they are in captivity, they are the dirtiest.”

God made us pure and holy to conform to the image of His Son. If Christians are in captivity, that is, being subjected to the ways of the world, we can be the “dirtiest” of all creatures. Unless we “fly” in the high places, out of the world’s control, and according to how God has made us, we’ll remain the dirtiest of creatures.

Lesson 3: Eagles Do Not Fly, They Soar

Eagles do not fly like other birds, flapping their wings profusely and using their own strength. Instead, eagles SOAR majestically, making use of the wind currents to gain height. What makes the eagle so special is that she sits on the rock and reads the wind and when the time is perfect she takes off and soars upward with her great wings. There is a special up-going wind where the eagle rides the wind and circle higher and higher toward the sky, without effort. She just spreads her wings.

Relevance:
The wind is referred many times in the Bible as the Holy Spirit. We can learn to cooperate with the Holy Spirit and let Him lift us closer to Jesus. The eagle in this case is the Christian who is being lifted by the Holy Spirit up and closer to Jesus.

Like eagles, we should learn to ride on the current of the Holy Spirit, instead of relying on our own strength. Only then can we “gain height” to “fly” in the high places. Isaiah 40:31 talks about growing in Christ that happens when we have fellowship with Him in the Spirit.

Lesson 4: Eagles Go Through Specific Periods of Renewal

When they are about 60 years old, eagles go through a period of renewal. An eagle would find a secret place up in the mountains. It would start to claw at its face and tear out the feathers that have been damaged over the years. As a result, it would bleed badly. The eagle would then wait patiently for the rays of the sun to heal it.

Through this, the eagle renews its strength by getting rid of the unnecessary things. Otherwise it would not be able to live till 120 years that it normally does.

Relevance:
Like eagles, Christians need to go through a renewal period sometime in our lives, to rid ourselves of unnecessary things and to wait upon the Lord. Renewal is a divine principle where God cuts off the unfruitful things in us so as to bring out the fruitful.

Lesson 5: Eagles Get Sick, Just Like Humans

When an eagle gets sick, it does not go to the doctor. It simply finds a favourite spot in the mountains and await the rays of the sun to heal it. The sun plays a major role in the life of an eagle and as such, is a major source of healing too.

Relevance:
When we get sick, besides going to the doctor, do we also look to the Lord who plays a major role in our lives as our source of healing?

Lesson 6: Every Eagle Has To Die

When an eagle is about to die, it will fly to its favourite spot in the mountains, wraps its wings round itself and look at the sun’s rays and dies.

Relevance:
Ideally, all Christians should die looking towards Jesus as our source of hope and comfort.

Isaiah 40:31 – “But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”

Doer Of Word

I beheld the Perfect Law of Liberty lately, He is the One who abide the 10 Commandments for me.
I beheld the Perfect Law of Liberty lately, I did not die but live, for He is the One who gave me His righteousness.

James 1:25 But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does.
James 1:24 for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was.
James 1:23 For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror;
James 1:22 But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.

I looked into the Mirror lately, I saw perfect beauty in the Mirror... that’s me.
I looked into the Mirror lately, I saw a righteous man in the Mirror... and that’s me!

I stood in front of the Mirror and observed myself lately, I realized I was fearfully made by the Creator of this universe.
I stood in front of the Mirror and observed myself lately, I realized I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.

Oooh... I have been brought back to simplicity lately, where the Holy Spirit first convicted me of Jesus' righteousness when I first put my trust in Him.
Oooh... I have been brought back to the basic lately, where the Holy Spirit first gave me the gift of speaking in tongue and I spoke out in marvel...

I stand in front of the Mirror and observing myself today, I realize I have not been a doer of Word. My heart is breaking...
I stand in front of the Mirror and observing myself today, I realize I have been a doer of my own word. My tear is falling...

Selah

I am now looking into the Mirror, I see perfect beauty in the Mirror and that’s my natural face.
I am now looking into the Mirror, I see a righteous man like Abraham and that’s my natural man!

I am now beholding the Perfect Law of Liberty and He is the One who abide the 10 Commandments for me.
I am now beholding the Perfect Law of Liberty and I am living forevermore, for He is the One who gives me His righteousness.

Now, I am a hearer of Word and I am a doer of Word. Whenever I walk away from this Mirror, the one and only thing I have to do is to BELIEVE that I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. Ooooh... He brings me back to basic and He brings me back to my First Love... I am now like an eagle renewing its youth.

I never know that it is so easy to be a doer of Word. Oh it is so easy to be a doer of Word… but men complicated it. I asked the Lord why is it soooo easy? He simply answered, “Son, this is My grace…”

Grace ~ Our First Love

I heard of the gospel of Christ and how He died on the cross for my sins and I believed. The moment I believed, I was saved. I was saved not because I had done a lot of good works. I was saved not because I had obeyed all the requirements stated in the Ten Commandments. No, I know nothing about Ten Commandments then. I was saved because I was a sinner. I was saved by His grace, through the faith He gave me.

As a new convert, I was full of His love and grace and I was enjoying Jesus everyday. Man, it’s wonderful to be a Christian. I was in love with Jesus because He first loved me. The transformation in my life was significant because I was a new creation and the old has gone. Since I was a new creation, I was basically made new, not modified. None of my effort was involved.

As I grew in the Lord, I was introduced to the laws and regulations because we believed that laws basically tell us what we can do and what we cannot do. The laws are very clear and we could not go wrong with it and after all, they are from the bible and was in God's heart because the law was placed in the Ark!...??? That was how the leaders in the church reminded the young converts.

Well, as a young Christian, I was zealous for God but my zeal was not based on knowledge and I did not know then, that was the beginning of my nightmare. Jesus said in Matthews 4:17 ~ “Repent, the Kingdom of heaven is near!”. But for me, it was, “Repent, your nightmare is near!”

In order to be an obedient and simple hearted Christian, I listened to man and left my first love for that set of rule and regulation. Every thing was dry and lifeless then. Whenever there were altar calls for those who were "cold" in the Lord for “fresh baptism of fire” from heaven, “fresh commitment” for back-sliding Christians, I was there. Fasting, praying, to seek my first love but to no avail.

Galatians 5:4 ~ You who are trying to be justified by law have been alienated from Christ; you have fallen away from grace.

After two years of struggling in my Christian life (the first year was honeymoon year), the Lord’s love and grace touched me again at my very worst spiritual condition through a message recorded in cassette tape. I heard of how much the Lord loved me and the message reminded me of the aroma that I remembered when I was saved. I believed what the preacher preached and I repented (change my mind). I repented from my death work and started trusting in Him again. It was Grace, the undeserved, unmerited favor of God that brought me back to His love again.

By the grace of God, I know what the First Love is now. It is the dependence of His grace alone, no legalism, no law abiding, no self effort, not seeking our own righteousness, not obedient to man but obedient to faith. Can you understand me? I began to receive my revelation on grace when I started to disobey man... Can you believe that?

The grace of God opens me up to a deeper revelation of who Jesus is, the understanding of truth that are hidden in the Word of God as if there are “subways” underneath the bible verses joining the truth together. I am more obedient than before and obedient with the knowledge of God.

First Love is divine in it origins. We cannot produce it, we simply receive and respond to it. I have found my First Love again. Have you?
