The Glory Of Kings

I have been wondering lately why there are so much differences between those believers who based their faith in their own performance and those who based their faith in Jesus' finished work.  I observed that towards the end of their discussions be it in Facebook or in forum..., they usually end up "killing" each other with "the sword" in their hand. This wondering has prompted me to ask the Lord for answers...

The Lord is always faithful. He is never too early or too late in what He wanted to deliver. As I was reading Proverbs chapter 25 this morning, I got my questions asked at the 2nd verse of this chapter.

Proverbs 25:2 ~ It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, But the glory of kings is to search out a matter.

God had conceal the mystery of the Gospel and it takes a king to search out this matter. When God preached the Gospel story to Abraham, he believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness. The mystery is in the Gospel. The key word is believing the Gospel. This believing system led this righteous Abraham to be a king.

On the other hand, Moses wrote about the righteousness that is by the law saying: "Whoever does these things will live by them." Therefore, in Moses point of view, performance is the key word and consequently, this leads to a life of a servant.

What the Lord had done at the cross had set us free for the Spirit we received does not make us slaves, so that we live in fear again; rather, the Spirit we received brought about our adoption to sonship and by Him we cry, "Abba, Father." To reign like a king in our life, we must continue to receive God's abundant provision of grace and the gift of His righteousness.

No wonder there are so much differences between those who are righteous by faith and those who are righteous by work. According to the Word of God, only those who are righteous by faith are addressed as kings like father Abraham. Those who are righteous by work are addressed as servants like Moses. No wonder kings see things differently from servants. No wonder kings speaks differently from servants. No wonder there are so much disagreements because they all see things from a different platforms... i.e. the Old Covenant and the New Covenant.

So, if you see like a king and talk like a king, do not be "downhearted" by the reactions shown by servants because they just cannot comprehend what a king like you, see and talk! God has concealed the mystery of the Gospel for kings and only kings not servants, are given the wisdom to search out this matter.

‎Those who have insight will shine brightly like the brightness of the expanse of heaven, and those who lead the many to righteousness (Jesus' righteousness or righteous by fauth, not righteous by work)  like the stars forever and ever. (Danial 12:3 NASB)

I did not notice that today is 25th of February. .. meaning 25:2 or Proverbs 25:2... until just now, before I decided to note down this revelation as a post in this blog...

Wow... What a wonderful revelation from the Lord from the right chapter @ the right time... It is the glory of God to conceal a matter; to search out a matter is the glory of kings.

Beautiful Formation of Cloud

I have been watchful for beautiful formation of cloud in the sky lately. Ever since my last encounter of beautiful cloud in the sky on 22.10.2008, I began to take notice of the cloud in the sky and I would imagine and see the formation of cloud as God's paintings in the sky.

I like to share with you my recent observation of these beautiful formations of cloud in Kuching's skyline.

Proverbs 8

Wisdom's Call

1 Does not wisdom call out?
Does not understanding raise her voice?

2 On the heights along the way,
where the paths meet, she takes her stand;

3 beside the gates leading into the city,
at the entrances, she cries aloud:

4 "To you, O men, I call out;
I raise my voice to all mankind.

5 You who are simple, gain prudence;
you who are foolish, gain understanding.

6 Listen, for I have worthy things to say;
I open my lips to speak what is right.

7 My mouth speaks what is true,
for my lips detest wickedness.

8 All the words of my mouth are just;
none of them is crooked or perverse.

9 To the discerning all of them are right;
they are faultless to those who have knowledge.

10 Choose my instruction instead of silver,
knowledge rather than choice gold,

11 for wisdom is more precious than rubies,
and nothing you desire can compare with her.

12 "I, wisdom, dwell together with prudence;
I possess knowledge and discretion.

13 To fear the LORD is to hate evil;
I hate pride and arrogance,
evil behavior and perverse speech.

14 Counsel and sound judgment are mine;
I have understanding and power.

15 By me kings reign
and rulers make laws that are just;

16 by me princes govern,
and all nobles who rule on earth. [a]

17 I love those who love me,
and those who seek me find me.

18 With me are riches and honor,
enduring wealth and prosperity.

19 My fruit is better than fine gold;
what I yield surpasses choice silver.

20 I walk in the way of righteousness,
along the paths of justice,

21 bestowing wealth on those who love me
and making their treasuries full.

22 "The LORD brought me forth as the first of his works, [b] , [c]
before his deeds of old;

23 I was appointed [d] from eternity,
from the beginning, before the world began.

24 When there were no oceans, I was given birth,
when there were no springs abounding with water;

25 before the mountains were settled in place,
before the hills, I was given birth,

26 before he made the earth or its fields
or any of the dust of the world.

27 I was there when he set the heavens in place,
when he marked out the horizon on the face of the deep,

28 when he established the clouds above
and fixed securely the fountains of the deep,

29 when he gave the sea its boundary
so the waters would not overstep his command,
and when he marked out the foundations of the earth.

30 Then I was the craftsman at his side.
I was filled with delight day after day,
rejoicing always in his presence,

31 rejoicing in his whole world
and delighting in mankind.

32 "Now then, my sons, listen to me;
blessed are those who keep my ways.

33 Listen to my instruction and be wise;
do not ignore it.

34 Blessed is the man who listens to me,
watching daily at my doors,
waiting at my doorway.

35 For whoever finds me finds life
and receives favor from the LORD.

36 But whoever fails to find me harms himself;
all who hate me love death."

The Wife of Noble Character

Proverbs 31:10~31

A wife of noble character who can find? She is worth far more than rubies.
Her husband has full confidence in her and lacks nothing of value.
She brings him good, not harm, all the days of her life.
She selects wool and flax and works with eager hands.
She is like the merchant ships, bringing her food from afar.
She gets up while it is still dark; she provides food for her family and portions for her servant girls.
She considers a field and buys it; out of her earnings she plants a vineyard.
She sets about her work vigorously; her arms are strong for her tasks.
She sees that her trading is profitable, and her lamp does not go out at night.
In her hand she holds the distaff and grasps the spindle with her fingers.
She opens her arms to the poor and extends her hands to the needy.
When it snows, she has no fear for her household; for all of them are clothed in scarlet.
She makes coverings for her bed; she is clothed in fine linen and purple.
Her husband is respected at the city gate, where he takes his seat among the elders of the land.
She makes linen garments and sells them, and supplies the merchants with sashes.
She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come.
She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue.
She watches over the affairs of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness.
Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her:
"Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all."
Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised.
Give her the reward she has earned, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate.
