A Beautiful Psalm On Grace

I was blessed and refreshed by this beautiful Psalm written by a beautiful Psalmist in Singapore (Kat Poon of Everything Grace)... Hmmm…how not to address her as a Psalmist if she could see the grace of God even from the darkest era of our human history…

Indeed, this is one of the good examples on how we can obtain fresh revelation of grace when we read our Bible in the light of the New Covenant Spirit. So, be blessed….

In the still of the night
Grace came
Wrapped in swaddling cloths
God’s redemption plan to fulfill

In the little town of Nazareth
Grace stayed
A child increasing in wisdom and stature
God’s redemption plan to fulfill

In the midst of a storm
Grace stood
Calming the tempest with His words
God’s redemption plan to fulfill

In the midst of a crowd
Grace healed and restored
A woman with the issue of blood
God’s redemption plan to fulfill

In the midst of multitudes
Grace gave thanks
With five loaves and two fish fed more than 5000
God’s redemption plan to fulfill

In the middle of two criminals
Grace gave His life
Opened His arms and declared “It is Finished!"
God’s redemption plan HAS BEEN fulfilled.

  2. hahaha you are most welcome!

I did consider the word poem, but my spirit told me Psalm is still the right word in the matter of His Kingdom.

The defination of Poem is: a literary composition that is given intensity by particular attention to diction (sometimes involving rhyme), rhythm, and imagery.
    – ORIGIN C15: from Fr. poème or L. poema, from Gk poUma, early var. of poiUma ‘fiction, poem’, from poiein ‘create’.

The defination of Psalm is: n. a sacred song or hymn, in particular any of those contained in the biblical Book of Psalms.  (the Psalms or the Book of Psalms) a book of the Bible comprising a collection of religious verses, sung or recited in both Jewish and Christian worship.
    – DERIVATIVES psalmic adj. psalmist n.
    – ORIGIN OE (p)sealm, via eccles. L. from Gk psalmos ‘song sung to harp music’.

So, you are a Psalmist not a Poet beacuse you are not writing on fiction but truth!

    Amen!

  4. I read through your psalm over and over again... I just wonder, in the midst of Law, what is Law doing there?

No wonder the Bible says the law is weak and useless...

Hebrews 7:18 The former regulation is set aside because it was weak and useless

Indeed, For the law was given through Moses; GRACE and truth CAME through Jesus Christ. (John 1:17)

  6. Haha... I mean Jesus was there in the midst the dispensation of Law to accomplished everything and Law just could not do anything to help. This show how weak and useless is the law...

Your psalm open up a big contrast between Law and Grace.
