I happened to come across this cute little walking stick outside my office last Friday. This insect is usually living among the trees and was found under a pillar outside my office. I did not know how this insect found it's way to this pillar because the nearest tree from this location is about 400M away.
Cute Little Walking Stick
Click on this video and see for yourself how this walking stick walks. When this insect noticed that there are enemies around it, it would pretend to become a stick. This video ends with it freezing itself and pretending to be a stick.
When I went home that evening, this poor insect still froze there at same position preforming it duty as a stick. I thank God for showing me His creation while I was on my way home...
Oh! That poor little stick; he was so frightened when he realized you were there!
ReplyDeleteGod was good to share that amazing insect with you! Doesn't it overwhelm you when you realize that he made all these creatures for our enjoyment?
I was reading about Jewish weddings today and the marriage contract states that the husband is legally obligated to provide for his wife's food, clothing, shelter, and pleasure. How much more is Christ a Husband to us? And although He covenanted with the Father, He acts from a heart of Love!!
He even gives us cute little walking sticks to make us smile!! :)
Thank you for the video; I will share it with my sister, the Biology teacher.
Grace & love.
Thank you Jamie for preaching to me the parable on the Jewish wedding. Their cultures are full of Biblical truth.
ReplyDeleteYour sharing on Jewish husband coincide with my fresh revelation on the Father's love. They are all with a heart of giving and blessing but are we humble enough to rest in him and receive from him...
Thank you for your affirmation.
Grace, grace and more grace!
